Mason Wheeler
If King Taravangian Spoiler wakes up every morning with a new level of intelligence, having changed while he sleeps then what happens if he pulls an all-nighter?
Vissy
His intelligence changes anyway. It may just be like a biological clock for him. Every 24 hours his brain activity increases or decreases. Edited August 2, 2016 by Rob Lucci sadas
Killik
Heh, going from a particularly smart day to downright dumb. I picture him just stopping mid stride... "Duh... what was I doing?"
galendo
Personally, I think it'd be more exciting if his intelligence only changes when he sleeps, so until and unless the books show otherwise, that's the way I'm imagining it. I could see him frantically trying to stay awake to maintain his superior intelligence, but that intelligence becoming less and less useful as he gets more and more exhausted. Conversely, I can easily imagine him going to bed early on a dull day, partly because he doesn't have anything to do and partly so he can be well-rested in case he's got super-intelligence tomorrow.
