I thought we needed one after everyone started discussing voices in random stuff. So now you dont need to imagine anymore, now you can hear~

Mind you, I didn't listen to it before posting because I'm not fond of my own voice. So it might be a little….odd.

Good, I wouldn't have listened to it anyway. There are some, like you, Chaos, Alvron, Oversleep and Kobold, who's imaginary voices sound great. I don't want to ruin them.

Good, I wouldn't have listened to it anyway. There are some, like you, Chaos, Alvron, Oversleep and Kobold, who's imaginary voices sound great. I don't want to ruin them.

That weird feeling when you are halfway between not reacting and being flattered. Well, cause somebody imagines my voice to sound great is not a thing to be excited about, right? It's entirely on their part how do they imagine me; but on the other hand, somebody is complimenting something about me...

So now imagine my voice to be unsure when I say "Uhm, thanks?"

BTW, I figured not many people would imagine my voice, cause I'm new to the forum - I joined exactly 5 months ago; well, I make up for it by posting a lot (1,143 posts in 5 months?)...

But please tell me, how do you all imagine my voice? The Only Joe made me curious.

Mainly the accent. I always forget that not everyone has the same accent I do.

But fear not, I only have fondness of Eldritch Geometries. Once when I was summoned to the blackboard when we were doing 3D geometry, I kept subconsciously drawing impossible planes. My teacher corrected me so many times that I started laughing, he started laughing, the class started laughing, then they all went mad. Good times.

Ah what the heck. This is what I sound like.

Warning: Singing included   Unfortunately my phone is the best recording device I have so the quality isn't as good as it could be. I don't think it's capable of handling my full range/volume without failing/buzzing/etc so I went for something a bit lighter than any of my main pieces. (I'm going to stop making excuses now, it's certainly not my best but it's not that bad )

 

I don't tend to think too much about what people sound like when reading posts, but I'm generally a little surprised when I do hear someone's voice. Maybe I just subconsciously expect everyone to sound a bit more Australian

Edit: Listening to a recording of my own singing always makes me feel a little sad in some ways because when you're singing there's this extra warmth and reverberation that you can feel but isn't audible to anyone else. And it just never sounds as good without that
