ChickenPlague he/him Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 (edited) By the way I would advise choosing Chasmfiend. Edited March 19, 2016 by ChickenPlague

Voidus Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 On setting: What would you guys think of making it during the days of the Dragon Cult, before the war happened and Aludin was sent forward in time? Oooh, interesting. It'd take a bit of research for me to remember when exactly that is in the timeline though.
Kynedath Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 Whatever time period/era/setting, could somebody send me a pm and give me a semi-thorough summary/rundown/background?
ChickenPlague he/him Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 On setting: What would you guys think of making it during the days of the Dragon Cult, before the war happened and Aludin was sent forward in time? If I remember correctly there were other gods named after animals being worshiped at the the time. My guy will worship the Whale/Stuhn/Stendarr. Tell me if I messed up my lore.

Here is a link to the wikia page on the ancient nordic pantheon of the time. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ancient_Nordic_Pantheon You might also find this playlist helpful. Clockwork he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 I'm posting my characters now. Neither follow the Nordic Pantheon because... well... they aren't Nords, and they weren't born in Skyrim. Name: Ma’tesh Tasarr Race: Khajiit, Cathay-Raht Age: 16 Proficiencies/Jobs: Thief, skilled in the arts of stealth, such as sneaking and lockpicking, and proficient with bows and blades. Statuses: Werewolf, born under the Thief. Worships: Baan Dar (Khajiiti Pantheon), Hircine Appearance: Pure-black fur with green eyes. Has slightly lighter spots on it, but are almost indistinguishable from the rest. Tall, fairly strong for a thief. Other: Has an Alfiq-Raht that is golden, named M’rasier Tasarr. This is actually his younger brother. He is born under the Shadow. Name: Raskeethus Kaydorus Race: Argonian, Common Histborn Age: 25 Proficiencies/Jobs: Mage/Priest, Skilled in Restoration and Conjuration, and Proficient at Destruction. Statuses: Born under the Apprentice Worships: The Hist Appearance: Red Scales with occasional black scales. Red eyes. Normal build. Other: His robes are made of dragon scales, and is looking for a fabled Hist tree in Skyrim.
Silverblade5 he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 Something I forgot to mention: I'm planning on having this be a free form rp. Also, playing as dragons is allowed. They may raise others to the position of dragon priest if both parties are willing.

Silverblade5 he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Name: Dunkestkaal Race: Dragon Color: bronze Status: Elder Dragon One of the more benevolent of dragons, He has many priests, and it is not uncommon for him to interact directly with his followers. Most often found in the Reach. Edited March 21, 2016 by Silverblade5
Kynedath Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Would Dunkestkaal have need of a magic and sword wielding dark elf mercenary?
Master Elodin Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Happy birthday Kynedath! By the way, I was thinking of being a dragon but I haven't actually played Skyrim. Good news is I don't plan to, so spoiler away for all I care.
Silverblade5 he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 Would Dunkestkaal have need of a magic and sword wielding dark elf mercenary? He might... Would be better to start with him already in the position of dragon priest though.
Kynedath Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) I'd be open to that. Maybe just in their employ though. I don't plan on liking worship or even religion in general. No offense to religion. Edited March 21, 2016 by Kynedath

Kynedath Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Okay sorry. My knowledge of a priest is off from the elder scrolls. I know them as magic users who gain their power from worship their deity or other figure of worship. Again, I have not played these games nor researched their lore. Sorry for any and all inconvenience. Those guys are undead right? I would be fine being an alive Dragon Priest, but being a lich doesn't really appeal to me that much. Could I not just work for the dragon priests?

Kynedath Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Oh okay. huh. Sure then! I'll alter him to fit the dragon priest image.
Silverblade5 he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Author Posted March 21, 2016 (edited) Kynedth, earlier you said you were planning on watching a lets play of the game. This one heavily focuses on the lore, not just the game play, so I'd recommend checking it out. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-Tj3kmYOOy3DVtUrMwd1dSNgPLelMIHx Edited March 21, 2016 by Silverblade5

Patar he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Sounds fun, mind if I join? I'd probably be something like a Nordic archer/thief/mercenary type of character. I could do a more detailed summary a bit later.
Nashan’Elin he/him Posted March 21, 2016 Posted March 21, 2016 Can I be a Nord who worships the dragons but feels guilty for abandoning his people?
