I haven't really tried many "exotic" foods... My dad served a 2-year religious mission in Japan, so he has introduced my family to a lot of Japanese foods that I like, such as gyoza, curry, and yakisoba. I tried a cucumber roll once, too, but it did not please me. I also tried a tiny speck of wasabi once and about DIED, because I have like, no tolerance for spicy foods.

Disappointingly most wasabi is not actually wasabi, it's just a curry paste that's died green. :(

I forgot to mention I also love spicy foods, though generally as a coincidence rather than out of some masochistic tendency to want to burn my mouth off, I just like the flavours and don't mind the heat.

I enjoy Cheetos and chocolate milk to the point that it's become a household meme.

"Get Jared to do X," they tell visitors. "He'll work for just a bag of chips and a chocolate milk."

Sad thing is, they're not wrong.

Replace chocolate milk with tea and cheetos with any kind of chips other than barbecue and I am much the same.

I, hailing from the Pacific Northwest, am obviously partial to salmon.

Salmon salmon salmon. Salmon puff. Salmon with lemon. Salmon with soy sauce.

Teriyaki salmon is the most wonderful thing I've ever tasted in my life. I got it from a wonderful sushi place in San Francisco whenever I visited. Then some other random restaurant showed up where it was. My life was never the same. Also I moved to Oklahoma, where there is no teriyaki salmon. There is, however, steak. I like that.

Yesss, salmon is the best in every single form. But no one else in my family likes it, so I almost never get any . . .

Pasta is lovely. Stick any kind of noodle with veggies and meat and you've got yourself dinner. Add soy sauce and rice and I'll show up at your door with a fork.

Are you saying that if I make noodles with soy sauce and rice, I could finally get to meet you?

I tried catfish for the first time the other night. It was good, but I still prefer sea fish.

I've had fried catfish before, it was on a plate with some other fried meats like frog legs, turtle, and gator.

I am not a spicy food person. Unless the spicy thing is curry, in which case I will eat it all.

I don't like spicy either, for me though, the spicy thing I'll eat is orange chicken.

I like meat and dairy and unhealthy things.

And again, more proof we're brain twins. Edited by The Honor Spren

Strange. I love pasta and make it just about half the time I cook something, but no one shows up...

Also, I thrive upon spicy foods. I couldn't live without them :D

On the subject of fish, fresh swordfish is simply divine and unlike any other fish you might get.

Like most fish, it has to be fresh or it is garbage.

Real blue fin tuna sushi is simply amazing as well! You have to be careful, though, many places claim to serve it, though what they serve is regular tuna.

I tried kale for the first time yesterday. Wasn't bad, better than lettuce, anyway.

Orange chicken is pretty dang good. Also, you can eat gator?  I had no idea. I guess you don't really get that opportunity very many places.

Brain twin theory=confirmed. Hey, have you thought about moving to Oklahoma? It's not boring at all. There's rocks, and bison, and longhorn cattle. And many, many steakhouses.

It was at this restaurant called The Catfish Place. They serve seafood marshfood and I only got it on a dare from my dad. But yeah, you can eat gator. I have some friends who go and hunt alligators to eat whenever their freezer runs out. I'm 97% sure its legal.

I'll think about it.

I make noodles + melted cheese pretty often.....my favourite (easy) form of pasta/noodles/spaghetti/whatever the difference is.

I just made a new pasta dish for the first time. It's called Yerushalmi Kugel and its basically noodles and caramelised sugar and eggs and pepper. It is wonderful. It's like a weird-but-nicely peppery cake.

Honourable mention for chocolate and choc chip cookies.

Having visited Rome last summer, I can say this: Italian>>Polish.

BTW, in Italy pizza usually have little ingredients. We're so used to milion things on pizza, but they do around three-four. And also Italian pizza have thin dough. So it's quite different from what we're used to.

I have a friend who went to Poland for work and he has horrible memories about the pizza there, of course probably it's just a matter of habit and things like that.

For example I ofter remain shocked when I see the "tipical" American Pizza, but actually I never ate it.

PS: Oh If I had known Oversleep I would have come to know you

Yes, actually.   I went there on the way home from Disney World.

Would you care to put your location on the stalking guide?
