Was reading Sentry's profile when suddenly...

Does dressing up a pug to look like Sentry work? And if not- would outlining Setry's face on the pugs face work? These are totally important questions... totally.

I... I can't tell how serious these questions are.

Help.

Just answer them. The insanity will take care of everything else.

I'd say sorry for saying Salem is Reckoners!Disneyland. But I'm not sorry.

Also, uh.

-No, I figure costumes don't count, though i m now tempted to have her NPC government aides cosplay her as some sort of uniform. You know, cause the Orwellianism and security mindset wasn't facist enough.

-Drawing a picture on the pugs face would totally work though.

If you're sorry just give us that shapeshifting pony Epic.

Are you acomplished cosplayer? Congratulation, the Salem government has a job just perfect for you. :P

Behold Sentry's elite forces!

Guilty confession of guilt:

For a longer time than I care to admit, I thought pugs and bulldogs were basically the same thing.

(But yes, cosplaying security officers. And I just remembered I said Sentry was a wannabe YouTube star meaning she probably has the right background to be a pegasister meaning damnation, I'm basically writing Starlight Glimmer!)

Starlight Glimmer would be perfect epic material, actually. Perhaps she could show up in a future Nightmare Moon Reckoners cross

In my mind, she is making a thin sheet of air around her. When she stops a rock that is flying towards her, it doesn't instantly go to absolute zero, but it just stops in air. The thin sheet of air would be a really good insulation barrier, therefore enabling Converter not to freeze to death.

She can't re absorb her own body heat, because of her limitation, there is a small amount of energy that leaks out, it would be to OP for her to be able to hold all of that energy.

Reality, who needs that?

I think the issue is how Converter is able to breathe when the air around her isn't moving, and that taking the kinetic energy from the air would work differently from taking but from a stone? #doesntknowphysics

And... I'm considering creating a vanilla. Is there anywhere in desperate need of new, non-powered characters?

I DON'T KNOW WHY WE'RE TALKING IN CAPS LOCK, BUT YES. HEED THE WORDS OF THE ONE WITHOUT SPARKLES.

THE ONE WITHOUT SPARKLES AND THE DARK LORD ZORBLAG WISH TO SEE MORE VANILLA CHARACTERS IN THE DALLES.

Also, I thought it was important enough to warrant capslock. :P

SHE SPEAKS WITH GREAT WISDOM, FOR SHE HERSELF SHINES MORE THAN ANY SPARKLE COULD!

(Didn't you have an idea for a Dalles character at one point anyway, Quiver?)

I had an idea...but I hate jumping into the middle of something so long-running!

I'm kinda considering the idea of a Vanilla in Salem's collesium, actually. A crazy type, imitating the likes of Remington and the Reckoners in a bid to show that Vanilla's are just as awesome as Epics...

But I dunno if I could pull off the cleverness required.

So a sort of vanilla fight club, where they can show off their prowess and prove they're just as—if not more badchull than—Epics?

I'd just meant dropping him into Salem's arena, but sure. Vanilla fight club.

Maybe Project Mayhem can get involved in burning Oregon to the ground

Yeah, I still have that one dude just sort of chilling in the Dalles, not doing much.

Do you mean that in the context of "I should get involved again" or in the context of "there's an character to adopt for someone else"?

Just for clarification, do you mean them also actually killing the Epics like those people did or just participating in the arena?

Because the first would actually match peoply trying to get a subplot running were arena fighters are found dead and the second isn't really that much of an oddety in the setting, although you might be interested in reading this part of it.

Honestly, I was just trying to spitball ideas, but if it helps get a sub-plot rolling, and keeps Salem active, I'd be happy to contribute that way.

(If they want me too, obviously)

...I sorta hate mentioning it, since I feel like it sounds like I'm making it all about me, but.

A murder investigation does sound like something Sentry would be involved with.

Investigation would probably largely fall to Sentry yeah.

On that note the killer would also have to plan around the posters.

We'll see, I have plans for Drainer that may or may not let him meet Thunderspear in the future

Weeeeeeeell...where is Drainer ATM? ThunderSpear is currently just wandering.

Also, Comatose, do you know of anyone else who ThunderSpear could steal from/jobs that rainmaker would give him?

Well, right now Rainmaker isn't aware of ThunderSpear, so she's not really at the point of offering him a job, and if he keeps breaking the rules, she's more likely to throw him out of Corvallis.
