The Rooster he/him
So I have a 3 month old baby who is fighting a few bugs right now. My wife wanted to prop up the crib to help her breathing and went to our bookshelves.... This horrified me because I know she's looking for thick books, and lo and behold the first thing she grabs was my first edition WoK. I quickly thought on my feet and told her that since there's no other book that thick it'll be uneven since we'll need two books to prop up the ends... Assisting in the book search we happily settled upon her twilight books (whew). Does anyone else have any unorthodox uses for the WoK hardcover or unorthodox uses you've managed to avoid?
bartbug he/him
No uses for WoK hardcover, but we use the Twilight books the same way! Great minds think alike, eh?

Colby Jack he/him
Some books are good alternatives for firewood. But let me think back to my childhood. I was quite the card collector then. Whenever I have a card that is bent, I would place them inside a random hardcover and weight it down with even more books. I leave it there for a week or so, and it would come out perfectly... okay. Don't always work as good as I'd hope. And it does nothing for crease.
Kurkistan he/him
I believe Mary once suggested its utility as a weapon in the event of a zombie apocalypse.
Swimmingly he/him
I've always thought that my Mistborn set would make a good anvil if I ever needed to do some blacksmithing. Once the full Stormlight Archive is out, I'll probably build a wheeled bookcase for them that can serve as a battering ram in times of need - as long as the case doesn't break before the door. Elantris alone makes a fine meat tenderizer, but I have TES, I can press sandwiches between them. I even use Legion as a nightstick, though I prefer my Shardhammer with a TWoT set as a head.

Cromptj he/him
I will occasionally use it plus the last three WoT books as weights.
Bean
I walked into a tree the other day. I then pulled out WoK and showed it to the tree. I threatened the tree that if it ever bothered me again its new name would be WoR. Brandon's books beat tree bullies.
