Can I turn Oregon into a big ball of wibbly wobbly, Epicy wepiky stuff?

No. At best you can turn it into an random rabble bubble of sound narrative insanity stuff.

And that's different from what it currently is...how?

I dunno, given that you never actually explained what you mean. Just means that time is to stay as intact as possible.

Time to creep the madness up!

I have a name (Well, two names) and a set of powers. I just need to figure out the weakness and the character.

Bloody Murder/Goreweaver (I need to make up my mind on this, I like both...)

Abilities: Vein and blood manipulation. She can extend her veins from her body to use as whips, blood sucking tendrils, ropes and whatever. They are extremely durable and while they are not unbreakable you are going to at least need a fire axe swung at full force to do any damage to them.

She can control any blood she is touching and form it into spikes, swords, saw blades, whatever she has enough blood for.

Healing: She can heal herself (As using her power actually hurts her) and others, not that you want a sadistic blood manipulator to heal you, do you? It is not regeneration, she needs to consciously use it.

Possibly corrosive blood, but she is powerful enough already.

As for the character I figured something out while writing this. She was an artist before Calamity, didnt really like people, mostly kept to herself. Her paintings were often macabre in nature.

I even figured out a weakness! ... should I write it here?

And then it was the name... How about I'll compromise and make it Bloodweaver?

Why not name her ACDC?

So how exactly does her healing work and how does it ineteract with her primary powers? Could she just create an infinite amount of blood for use? Would scratching someone be enough to make their blood explode them from the inside? given she can use her veins to suck blood can she also stab people with them?

As for the weakness. You're only required to tell it to Twi and whoever happens to be the local gm.

I knew you would catch that

I imagine it as not creating blood at all, it just closes wounds, she can however convert others blood to whatever her own blood type is.

She has to have her veins inside someone to control their blood, if she did she could probably blow them up though, not that she would, it is too fast and not fun enough.

Yes she can stab people with her veins.

Which raises the question if you caught on to my profile feed?

Okay, how does that interact with ripping her veins out and does she have a means to transport the blood she assimilates? How much contact does she need for the blowing up bit?

How good are they at the stabbing bit and how agile are they?

*Goes to look*

I havent friended you and I dont go lurking your profile... I probably should friend you...

Well, the reason she can heal is mostly so that her veins dont leave holes once she retracts them.

She could just store the blood in herself, wear it, put it in a blood bag, lots of ways to transport the blood.

Lets say she can control blood in around half a meter radius from where she is touching it... I think it would make more sense if she just makes spikes out of the blood rather than an explosion.

Veins are very agile and good at stabbing.

What's the maximum extend she can heal from anyway?

Any idea where you want to put her?

Well, she is better at reattaching things than regrowing things, so if her arm gets sliced off she can reattach it, but it will take months to regrow something larger than a finger. So she could reattach her head if it was close enough to her body, but if you cut her head off and kicked it into the sea she is dead.

No, I need to read the threads...

I see, so hacking of the vains outside her body could do rather serious harm to her?

Have fun. Feel like getting a summary?

If you could cut through them to begin with, yes XD

A summary would be nice <.<

The threads that are still open in very basic.

Astoria: Meant for high power levels.Story is rather basic so far in that we have a lot of invading Epics at just so happened to all have arrived at the same time and are now slowly starting to band together in an attempt to overthrow the local government.

Corvallis:The local drug dispenser Epic that keept the city peacful has been kidnapped, causing unrests in the city. Plus another Epic attacking the city. Story mostly focuses on trying to find said drug despencer Epic and quelling the unrests.

Both of these cities actually have a similair structure in that they have an Epic that can create large amounts of resourcess and a stable government. Their major difference setting wise is that Euphoria did mostly keep the Corvalis populance docile with the whole mental drug powers of hers, while Lucentia is more hands of with the ruling and doesn't mind gangs building in the city and stuff like that as long as they don't become to much of an annoyance.

Salem: Mostly focused on one of fights in the local arena that takes place in a mental landscape created by the towns ruler Soulcaster. A story was supposed to start but went nowhere.

Corvallis sounds interesting. I find it funny that the solution to stop the riots is to drug everyone again XD

I may have been simplifying matters a bit.

hello again people of the RPverse. its me. warriormark. the guy who took up five pages in question 16 to settle the Hunter argument. (that should be in my signature somewhere).

but whatever! I'm back! And im thinking of using the following character rather than the Hunter.

antimatter

ntimatter

primary power: antimatter force redirection
creates small antimatter explosions that he is able to channel into a high powered energy attack. He can also control how powerful the explosion is.

secondary power: Reincarnation.
When he dies he comes back five hours later in full fledged Rending mode.

tertiary power: super indexed IQ
"If Einsteins IQ was in the stratosphere, Antimatter's was somewhere on the far edge of the moon."

appearance: tattered peacoat, close shave, boots.

Vice: he has no Idea who he is and has no memories past his first rending.

How small antimatter explosions? Melon sized, smaller or larger.

And Epics only get one Rending. He could go on a rampage, but he wouldn't have the memory issues Epics have after their Rending.

I see absolutely no reason why his powers couldn't induce memory loss.

Posted

Megan always remembered the times she resurrected angrier and more destructive than before; she just didn't remember dying.

Yeah ,but this is a different Epic. His powers can have different effects.

Posted

Yes it wouldn't be an actual rending ,but it could be so similar to one that the Epic calls it a rending.

He'd have to be very powerful for that to work, considering even Obliteration remembers the atrocities he committed at full power. It's true that we haven't seen many resurrection Epics in canon, but all of the most powerful canon Epics remember the atrocities they committed after their Rendings, even at full power. Heck, if Obliteration were going to go on another Rending, it would've been after he destroyed Houston, but from everything we've seen, he didn't. It seems clear to me that the only memory loss Epics suffer is related to their Rendings; they're stuck with the memories of everything else they do.
