This has been another thrilling episode of Good Cop, Sexy Cop!

...scratch that. Neither of them are good cops.

Sleazy cop, Sexy Cop?  Or maybe Sleazy Cop, Sleazier Cop?  Pervy Cop and Sexually and Emotionally Exploitative Cop?

Hopefully soon to be: Dead cop and no longer a cop.

Dead cop and pencil pusher stuck with all the paperwork dead cop neglected?

She'd just hit on Redlight every time she handed the paperwork in.  <_<

I don't think it'd be out of character for Redlight to freeze her every time that happened, leave her for half an hour or so, and say "Make it up on your downtime."

If Shiny Sparkle were somehow trapped on a desert island with her weakness, she'd probably draw attractive faces on a bunch of volleyballs and refer to them as her harem.

Only if after freezing her she turned her around so she didn't keep leering at her while frozen.

Introducing: Detective Shiny Sparkle, and her deputy, Deathwish:

Sparkle and Deathwish approach their new suspect; an attractive woman in her mid-twenties.

DW: [something offensive, accompanied with a request that the young woman remove her clothing, and a boast about DW's prowess in the bedroom]

DSS: I'm sorry for the behavour of my deputy ma'am.  If it's any consolation, he's a pervy slontze in general, so it's not just you he's singling out.  Deathwish!  Your overall skeeziness is undermining this investigation.  Do something useful and take a fly around the town.  I'll radio you when I'm finished here.

DW: [grumbles about Shiny Sparkle, makes vague reference to Sparklesplosion incident in Vondra's office].  Deathwish leaves.

Suspect:  Thank-you Miss.  That Deathwish is just...

DSS:  That's Detective Shiny Sparkle to you!  Now be a dear and remove your top.

Suspect: What?

DSS:  You heard me!  Full strip searches are a mandatory part of the job, so let's get a move on.  Let me know if the search is making you uncomfortable, though.  I'm happy to offer sparkly cuddles, or start stripping myself, if that will help.  Anything to make things more enjoyable ;).

End Scene.

I think we should give Shiny another deputy, you know someone that may actually hold back. How about deputy Scribbler?

So... you know how Nighthound and Neverthere are going to die in a tragic bus accident on their way back? I think they should take a detour around the Dalles, outside of Deathwish and SS's office.

I'm not sure, which part of it is supposed to be tragic?

The illusions are . . . Just illusions? I guess?

She has a 100 foot radius for transformation. And shed probably just change it into fire, anyway.

Her healing is about on par with Prof's, so I think she could regrow limbs. If the blow is super fatal, she might die before she could finish healing.

I'm thinking I'll put her in Astoria, since I already know what's going on there. And my other character, Magnolia, is still going to be there, but her planning was moved into PMs.

Yes but are they light images projected into the room or stuff that's projected into someone's mind?

Just change of material or could she tecnically transform something into a more complex construct?

Well, Prof can at the very least instantly heal from complete incineration, so I think you may be underestimating his healing a bit. :P

Any idea where in Astoria you want to put her?

If it's Corrupted!Scribbler that might be worse since she'd just murder any Epics they found. Including the Sheriff.

The part where it's a bus crash and not getting slowly dissolved in acid?

They do have to meet each other so Shiny gets a reason to fish for Lord Dupin.

Oh, so it's a first world tragedy. :P

In Astoria, where exactly is the storage place that the Financier was at? I'm trying to figure out where to have Lightwood show up.

It's somewhere relatively close to the KFC, so I guess somewhere in the northern/western part of the city.

Oh! I think I saw a middle school close to where Lightwood would grow the food. Would that be it? Sorry, I'm just trying to map this all out in my head before I actually do anything.

That might be difficult to do if she's dead though. :P

No, I think that would be a bit to far away. Actually, looking at the map again, somewhere around the Astoria Warrenton Area Chamber of Commerce seems like a good spot. What do you think Twi?

Then we just have to make sure that Scribbler is in a good mood first.

Well a cup of hot chocolate would be greatly appreciated. :P

On a serious note though if Scribbler had some misunderstandings in exactly what way Shiny 'liked' Autumn it would probably greatly improve her opinion of her.

I take it that someone has to investigate an Epic breaking into a clinic and stealing medication.

That part I will leave to you.

You know thinking about it between Nighthound and Baxter you control both the nicest and slontziest characters in the game, and with the Metal you have what's probably the strongest as well. I guess I'd better leave you Metronome just to complete the balance and give you the weakest real strongest.

I am of the opinion that balance is important, however just always staying on the middle ground is boring, so I just push out a lot of different extremes. :P

I tend to opt for insane characters who can just go from one extreme to the other. :P

Like Neverthere who can go from being a complete sociopath to... a Nighthound fangirl? Is that even a difference?

The joking aside, does Shiny being send to investigate/deal with the Pandas and after her return asked to look at the Tylor trace, while Scribbler first (after she wakes up) makes herself a nice morning by investigating the medical theft and possibly looking after Shiny's investigations sound like an doable arrangement for everyone involved?

Lark has started an Elantris RP if anyone's interested. I haven't seen any on the boards and I still have a very special place in my heart for Elantris so I'll probably be participating.

This thing, he sounds good.

This sentence, she is approval?

Have fun in Elantris, Voidus.
