Blackhoof Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 I like the fight but one writing suggestion- you don't need to be so specific with numbers and quantities. For example, don't say "he shot out 10 cubic meters of steam", just say "he shot out a column of steam". We don't really know how much 10 cubic meters is, and trying to work out just distracts us from enjoying the narrative. A little vagueness is fine, imagination can fill out the details 1

I recommend reading at least a few pages of the thread to get a feel for what the characters and setting are like, and to see how your character could best fit in there. Also ask Edgedancer's opinion for what her role could be and how she'd most likely be involved in current events. 1
