EDIT: Does it work now?

Wait, I'm not the only one who sings to themselves?  :o

Definitely not. I don't really understand when people get earworms, because if I get annoyed at a song I'm playing in my head, I just switch to a different one. Sometimes I sing to myself just to make sure I've memorized a song (which I also do with poems), and sometimes just because it fits my mood. Right now I'm singing "Putting it Together" by Barbara Streisand and "Free" from Barbie: Princess and the Pauper. Very different songs, but similar pace and pleasure from singing.

I have a new blog!

Scriptorem Verba. It means, loosely, "the words of the author" or "the writer's words".

Awesome, man. I still don't have the courage to reveal mine to everyone here, yet.

My one suggestion is that you put in a contact box for comments, either in your About Me Page or a Contact Me Page. You can even do it in a widget. Not sure what kind of comments you'll be looking for in the future, but based off of my personal blogging experience, it's a lot easier to keep up with meaningful comments/criticisms when people send them in long-form rather than in the comments section. I just do this:

1. Set up a Blog!Gmail address for my blog.

2. Set the Blog!Gmail address to forward all messages it receives to my Personal!Gmail address, with the caveat that Personal!Gmail sorts all the Blog!Gmail to a new folder, and marks comments with a tag of some sort.

3. Set up aliasing, so you can send an email from Personal!Gmail and have it show up as sent from Blog!Gmail.

Etc. That way you can have email correspondence with Wordpress users, while keeping your personal email that you check frequently stay private.

I sing to myself all the time, then some old lady walking her dog appears out of nowhere and I have to suddenly shut up...

All right! Glad you like it! I'll look into doing that, thanks for the suggestion!. :)

No probs. I learned Wordpress the hard way, by figuring it all out myself. :P

I sing to myself/my dogs sometimes when my roommates are gone. It was awkward the one time one of my roommates was home and I didn't realize it haha

Let us not forget Foggy (from Daredevil) singing Gilbert & Sullivan to himself when he thought he was alone in the office. :P

I sing to myself all the time! I used to sing with a friend- we were boss at Les Mis marathons, did parts and everything- but then I moved, and now I sing with a pretend person doing the other parts.

"But then I moved" seems to end a lot of my sentences lately.

The worst is when you have a conversation with an imaginary person in your head, and make the corresponding facial emotions and hand gestures. I always get the strangest looks when I'm just sitting there and waving my hands and rolling my eyes at Kaladin.

Im unable to read in publicfor this exact reason.

Does anyone else have practice debates in their head ( kinda like playing both sides of a chess board) to prepare for a conversation tht may never happen? Its really fun.

Maybe I do.....

No I don't!

Yes I do!

This. I do exactly this, particularly when I'm nervous about a conversation. So basically when I want to say something to my sister or my theater teacher, or someone else who intimidates me.

When I was younger, I could never listen to music secretly at night, because I was prone to singing along, and then my parents would come into my room and discover that I was not asleep.

Has anyone else ever seen those portable CD players? I feel old.

THIS. When I'm tired, I do it to people who are actually in the room, but who are participating in different conversations. And then people ask me if I'm all right when I actually let a couple of words of the conversation leak out.  I just need my sleep.

AND THIS! I definitely do this. 95% of the time, the real conversation never happens.

All. The. Time. I'm always attempting to formulate the perfect thing to say should someone ask this or say that or whatever.

I mean, I think we all kind of do when we write online. We rephrase our posts to have exactly the effect we want. That's just the real life equivalent.

Huh. Never thought about it like that. Makes sense.

I hate my keyboard. I don't know why. I just hate it.

I hate the keyboards where the keys are supposed to press down softly, if you know what I mean. I always feel like the keyboard is broken or something.
