Citadel16 he/him
hello! I'm just gonna' introduce myself. I'm warriormark. or mark. or warrior. or G-Biz. I'll respond to whatever. Im still kinda new to all of this, so any help with the whole forum concept would be appreciated. it should be noted that I am an author ( or writer, due to the fact that I haven't published anything) and find great joy in making people cry through sheer literary torture ;: )
Kipper he/him
I think, therefore I am.I doubt that. Welcome! Any specific questions about the forums? If not, I advise you go check everything out! The Reading Excuses and Writing Excuses forums, in particular, may be of interest to you as a writer. Also, you should totally check out the Sanderson Elimination forum for the classic party game Mafia (or Werewolves) reworked into Cosmere style. As always, if you haven't read the book, and don't want spoilers, don't visit the sub-forum. Unless, of course, you want to know the entire plot and such. This is usually the part where I make a grand pronouncement about giving you your first rep point, but since you already have 12, can I interest you in a cookie?
Elbereth she/her
Which Sanderson books have you read? Also, don't take the cookie. Just... don't. Kipper, I'm really tempted to put "DON'T TAKE THE COOKIE" in my sig, I'm saying it so often.
Zathoth
Cookie is a euphemism for "hemalurgic spike", so of course you should take the cookie.

Though Ive read most of his books, so almost everything thing that will be said I will understand completely... ...that almost part can be a real kick in the teeth, sometimes

Citadel16 he/him
I've read all the cosmere works, except the short stories and unpublished ones. I haven't read Alcatraz past the first book, the same with rithmatist.I have also read infinity blade 1&2 and legion 1(not 2) ... am I missing something? Elbereth she/her
There is no second book of Rithmatist. There are, however, three more Alcatraz books, which I highly recommend. Have you read the noncosmere short stories? Defending Elysium and Firstborn are both up on the internet for free. And also, I would recommend the cosmere short stories as well. They're full of goodness. Have you read Steelheart?

Elbereth she/her
It's difficult not to love any of Brandon's works. Which series was your favorite? EDIT: Also, I just remembered that you said you're a writer. Does that mean you're participating in NaNo? Citadel16 he/him
Stormlight Archives. What is NaNo? and I very much want to read perfect state... I've read the emperors soul, though.
Elbereth she/her
NaNoWriMo is National Novel Writing Month, which basically challenges aspiring writers to write 50,000 words in a month. It's great to get a first draft down on paper, so you have something to start from that you can revise later. It's really fun!
Citadel16 he/him
That's awesome! Id never heard of that before. I will almost definitely be doing that. (Assuming I can do my schoolwork first and still have time for it).
Elbereth she/her
It's a challenge, to be sure. The minimum is 1667 words a day. Since you would be starting late if you wanted to do it this year, it'd be 2500 every day. But you can do it! I have finished early before. (My first year, I finished on the 18th, but it was kind of the worst novel I've ever written, so, you know.) Time is the issue. I'm doing this, working on two secret projects, plus school (=seven classes + 4 music ensembles), plus even more stuff. I'm a little behind right now. But I think I can catch up!
Stormgate he/him
Well, it's about time you got on here. If you need help, I am more than willing to tell you how to use spoiler tags, as well as some other tricks I've learned. Also, great signature, and I'm a noble now. Too bad you're not a skaa or bridgeman anymore... P.S. To all those who are wondering, we are friends in real life.
