+Slowswift Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 It's something to do with Nalthis, I assume? One of the Returned?
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 Cutting out his tongue? And hey, 101 pages.
Curiosity he/him Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 It's something to do with Nalthis, I assume? One of the Returned? No, it's a maxim that basically only the God King ignores. But since he (or anyone native to his planet) doesn't know about it, I guess you can't really say he ignores it.
Aleksiel Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Call me a God King, but I have no idea where you're going with this
Curiosity he/him Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Basically, there's a saying, not from the planet Nalthis, that could not be said to apply to the God King (or perhaps the Returned in general, though less so).
Jo and the Bush all/any Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Is it a Cosmere saying or a Real Life Saying?
Curiosity he/him Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Cosmere saying. And it's also part of the anagrams thread.
Aleksiel Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 'There's always another secret'? I don't recall any Cosmere proverbs, can you give us another hint? 1
gjustice99 she/her Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I was going to say YOLO but you said it is in Cosmere... 5
Pestis the Spider she/her Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 (edited) I was going to say YOLO but you said it is in Cosmere...Have my upvote. This is brilliant. Made me laugh so hard. Gaah, to be honest I also can't remember any proverbs. EDIT: Is it Journey before Destination? It has to be it. Edited February 2, 2015 by Pestis the Spider 1
Curiosity he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 life before death? Upvotes for all y'all, but jasonpenguin has it. Again, this ties in with my anagram hint.
Peng the Just he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Nope, nope and nope. Let me put it this way: Doesn't "dig" holes.
Peng the Just he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 nope. Still on the wrong meaning of dig.
Peng the Just he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Still no, but I can see how you got that. 2
Peng the Just he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Still no. Not sure how you got that one.
Cheese United he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 (edited) Shia lebouf? I'm assuming by 'dig' you mean the meaning of the term as used in this sentence: I don't 'dig' the Xbox, but I do 'dig' the PS4. (No offense Xbox fans) If this is true, it might help Edited February 3, 2015 by Cheese United 1
Peng the Just he/him Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 yes, that is the meaning of dig I'm using.
