No worries, I'll just write more Scribbler killing Deathwish fanfics in the meantime. Vondra woke, rubbing sleep from his eyes. He'd had the strangest dream—and not the good kind. The Dalles was burning, people screaming, Koschei laughing. Except Koschei had the face and voice of a teenage girl. He stood to his feet, and froze. Something was different. Something, something…. Something smelled like smoke. Panic seized him. He snatched up the clothes he'd laid out the night before and dressed in a hurry, then bolted for the front door. Chaos. A home in the northeast sector was on fire, smoke billowing from the ruins. Gryphons and giant eagles circled above, dive-bombing at random. He watched in horror as one lifted a screaming soldier and carried him off towards Mount Hood. Deathwish flew in frantic circles, chased by a massive pink dragon that appeared to breathe some sort of tar instead of fire. Before he could radio for a report, Arsenal stormed over. His clothes had been turned to pink pajamas covered in big-eyed kittens. He planted his foot and pointed angrily at the city. "Do you see?" he demanded. "Of course I see, but I don't understand! Tell me what the hell's going on!" "This." He pointed again. "This is what happens when you oversleep your alarm!" 4

Dear Princess Celestia, Today I learned that while most Epics are mindless murderous rage machines, there are maybe, like, two or three that aren't. And they're pretty darn nice. Well, the one I met was. She told me about her boyfriend and invited me out for waffles. I couldn't go without the mindless murderous rage machine that had kidnapped me earlier, but hey, at least I have a new friend. Also, send help. Your faithful student, Sam Trattner 3

I mean, that's a long time for the corruption to set in, but at least she wasn't in Mindless Slaughter Mode when she arrived.
