Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Twi, you go first. Voidus, I like how you think. I keep seeing the sunglasses guy in your sig and thinking it's part of the post 1
Mailliw73 he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I've been on mobile a lot lately, so I forgot that was there.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 She'd be followed by guards, for sure, but they'd know she was coming. They just don't expect people to waltz through Thoughttown. But they won't impede her, knowing how powerful she is. So a scene where she marches into HQ, trailed by a handful of guards who keep rattling on about checkpoints and protocol would be likely?
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 So a scene where she marches into HQ, trailed by a handful of guards who keep rattling on about checkpoints and protocol would be likely? Struggling in vain to continue rattling about checkpoints as their clothes are slowly turned into pancakes.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Struggling in vain to continue rattling about checkpoints as their clothes are slowly turned into pancakes. Nah, just their clipboards and radios.
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Or Funtimes shows up, cutting Altermind in half. Then Takes Voidgaze to cut Nighthound, Neverthere and Lucentia in half while they're all nice and gathered together? The interesting thing being that I now have clear evidence that Voidgaze could kill Neverthere through her projection.
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 The interesting thing being that I now have clear evidence that Voidgaze could kill Neverthere through her projection. The power of righteous awesomeness is stronger than Astral Projection?
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 The power of righteous awesomeness is stronger than Astral Projection? Or maybe the power of metaphysics! ...or something. How exasperated is NV going to be about the whole whoring out comment by the way? 1
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Or maybe the power of metaphysics! ...or something. How exasperated is NV going to be about the whole whoring out comment by the way? Not particularly, she'd mostly just be glad she got Lucentia to descend to her level. Well she'd be privately glad anyway, expressing that right now seems like a bad idea
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 I'm getting serious Mean Girls flashbacks with Neverthere and Lucentia. 2
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 I'm getting serious Mean Girls flashbacks with Neverthere and Lucentia. Does this mean a bus is about to hit one or both of them? *Hopeful stare* 1

Well she'd be privately glad anyway, expressing that right now seems like a bad idea Smart girl. I'm getting serious Mean Girls flashbacks with Neverthere and Lucentia. I don't think mean is quite enough to describe them. Does this mean a bus is about to hit one or both of them? *Hopeful stare* Is it a magical super weakness bus? 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Does this mean a bus is about to hit one or both of them? *Hopeful stare* Sam's narration: And that's how Lucentia and Neverthere died. I'm not even kidding. Nighthound's body was found later, and you don't even want to KNOW what he looked like. Suffice it to say, Ray got ahold of his weakness and....well, I don't know why an Epic of all people would need a meat tenderizer, and I'm not gonna ask. 5
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 For some unknown reason both busses and Voidgaze are able to kill Neverthere through her projections. Epic powers are weird ok? 1
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 For some unknown reason both busses and Voidgaze are able to kill Neverthere through her projections. Epic powers are weird ok? They died through the power of shut up and stop asking questions. 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 For some unknown reason both busses and Voidgaze are able to kill Neverthere through her projections. Epic powers are weird ok? Who says the bus doesn't know where she lives? 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Who says the bus doesn't know where she lives? The Magic Weakness Bus always finds out. Like Baskin-Robbins. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 The Magic Weakness Bus always finds out. Like Baskin-Robbins. Baskin-Robbins is your weakness. 3
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 They died through the power of shut up and stop asking questions. Which Epic has this power? Who says the bus doesn't know where she lives? Well the fact that busses can't... er I mean nothing, nothing at all should stop that bus from crashing through her house. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 (edited) Which Epic has this power? Well the fact that busses can't... er I mean nothing, nothing at all should stop that bus from crashing through her house. With all this build up, clearly the final confrontation between Lucentia and Neverthere will end up being Epic. Edited September 21, 2015 by Edgedancer
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 With all this build up, clearly the final confrontation between Lucentia and Neverthere will end up being Epic. Given Neverthere's propensity for responding to serious situations by sticking her tongue out and blowing raspberries at them I think you might be disappointed. I'll try to get on the next reply soon but it's pretty late here so it might be tomorrow.

Mailliw73 he/him Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 So a scene where she marches into HQ, trailed by a handful of guards who keep rattling on about checkpoints and protocol would be likely? Exactly.
Voidus Posted September 21, 2015 Posted September 21, 2015 Exactly. I think I've been watching too much anime lately. I read this and then immediately did a kind of reverse-subtitle in my head where my mental voice for Mailliw said this in Japanese. 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted September 21, 2015 Author Posted September 21, 2015 Exactly. Anyone in particular who'd be at the checkpoint, or can I just name someone and say they've been doing their job for a while?
