No problems on my part, if it's keept in reasonable limits like that.

Now let's see if i can get some work into that Nighthound post.

You mean whether having the illusionist leeting the details be filled in by his targets minds means he should looses control over it to some point or if he should stay aware of it and thus potentially gain information he shouldn't be able to know about?

Yep. That's the one. We should talk about that instead of more Nighthound.

Alright, so personally I'd say that if the illusionist can give really vague impressions like "your conversation partner mistakenly spurts out your biggest secret/weakness" then no, he should not be able to be aware of that given how frigging valuable information like that can be and at that point he might as well be a mind reader.

Sandman post up, part 1. I realize I took some small liberties with characters, so if you want me to change anything, let me know.

Hope you find it, engaging...

So, I'm thinking Taylor Swift spent last night finding an suspecting victim and stealing their house.  If you can think of an NPC vanilla in the Dalles, or even just some facts about said vanilla, that would be fun for her to impersonate, let me know!

Also, Rainmaker post!  Blaze, I tried not to talk about Blossom too much, so feel free to fill in any blanks with her reactions.

So, Rainmaker's next move (once Gunsmoke is dealt with and the problem in the fields is contained for the moment), will be to try to find an epic who can track down Insight.  I know we already have a number of epics with tracking abilities of different sorts.  Is there anyone who could potentially track down Insight who would be well known enough for Jumpdrive to have heard of?  If so, perhaps Rainmaker can have them brought to Corvallis for a while to help track down Euphoria :).  I'd also be fine if someone has a new epic idea that could fulfill this role, but it would be fun if there was an existing character who was free and willing :).

Working on the second part of the Sandman Dream, does anyone have of characters in MoNA they want me to include? I've already picked out a few, but I'm open to suggestions. PP should be, interesting...

I had the awesomest dream last night. (You can tell when I have been paying way too much attention to the Reckonerverse when this kind of thing happens  :P ). The government had made a device that somehow made a altered!Reckonerverse real by capturing Brandon Sanderson and hooking him up to this machine that actualized his imagination of the Reckoners world, but only what he'd written down. However, they made him write a general into an Epic who could control any corrupted Epics. They then subdued all the Epics in America, causing a giant military coup and they took over much of the world. Brandon managed to write that members of the RP could switch between any of the Epics they wrote at will, and when they died, all of their Epics got released to fulfill their dying wish. There was a bunch of fighting, but mail-mi turned into Timeport and transported Voidus and I into the future (slowly) where Voidus used the powers of Metronome to get all of the enemy Epics and allies who had survived in one place. Then Phoenix was revealed to also be Firefight, Megan's dimensional double in this parallel universe, so when Megan summoned him, he convinced her to come back to our dimension. Then she pulled out a dimensional double of Voidus, who got killed, and his legions of Epics overwhelmed the enemy so we won.

On a less crazy note:

After Blackhoof gets up his Iconoclast post, Phoenix will escape surveillance. I have this post ready, most of the way, so after that he will be free for Insight to pick up, Comatose.

Also, would Insight ever go after Jumpdrive? I was imagining Jumpdrive's memories popping up, and how weird that would be for a non-Jumpdrive observer. Jumpdrive does it all the time, so it wouldn't be weird to him, but it would be like watching a memory and having videos, sound clips, photos, an imaginary AI, and text boxes pop up in your field of vision. It would be like watching a comic book in real life.

Edit: Oh and Blackhoof, if you want to add Sidestep into the list of deceased Corvallis Epics on the Easter Eggs, that'd be cool. He is only mentioned as one that died to Iconoclast's attack by Jumpdrive. I imagined him as having the ability to step out of the way of anything he sees coming.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I know I'm not around too often, so I try to make it count when I am.

This post came to me today while I was at university. I had been toying with the idea of what it was Like in Sandman's mind, and suddenly had a flash of inspiration. so I sat down at an open library computer and banged it out in a little under two hours. Makes me wonder why I can't write like that all the time...  <_<

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks. Next up is either the second part of this scene, or I'll remind people why Quicksilver is the most feared epic in the Dalles.

I am working on a Nighthunter/Inhuman post in which they meet and fight. Is that okay, Voidus?

Inside the arena or on the streets?

If the latter it's fine but someone will probably be sent to break them up, if it's in the arena then definitely fine.

That sounds awesome :D

Sidenote, Sidestep is also the name of an Epic from the MEE who's still alive so that might get a bit confusing.

Something before you start writing PP has not spend the Night in the museum, so i am not sure if Sandman could Look into his not Calamity given dreamthingy.

I didn't take over the world, clearly a faulty dream. :P

think so, though I do know he returned a while back.

Edge, knowing Jack the way he does, would it make more sense for Autumn to sit back and wait to see if she needs to step in, or slap Reader's hand away and tell him she knows full well he can Read people clothed?

Or punch him in the nose? I think she'd punch him in the nose.

"Punch Reader in the nose" is usually the correct answer.

1. You are in the middle of high-stakes multilateral negotiations with neighboring cities. Reader begins mouthing off. What should you do?

A. Politely ask him to hold his tongue.

B. Have your armed guards escort him out of the room.

C. Punch him in the nose.

2. Two new Epics have arrived in town. What is the best thing to do?

A. Have Autumn interview them, followed by Reader.

B. Interview them yourself.

C. Punch Reader in the nose.

3. The square root of 8,247 is:

A. 12.457

B. Cuba

C. Punch Reader in the nose.

Right now Jack needs about all of his willpower not to take Option C. So Autumn 's help would be appreciated.
