Those were the kinds of things I was planning on including... I don't see why we can't include those types of things, as this is essentially a fanfiction. We can do whatever we want with our own map, right? Though I think that the thread GMs should have final say in what is included/not included for their respective "layers" of the map.

If we put a higher emphasis on maps, will players be expected to rigidly conform and consult with them when writing their posts? Because that could be a hassle.

I see the maps as a guide--if players want to know where their character is and how long it would take them to get from Point A to Point B, they'll be a handy guide; but if location and distance aren't a major factor in their posts, they won't have to worry about it.

I can give edit privileges to anyone with Google account, so if anyone wants to do another set of markers for other cities, please PM me If anyone disagrees about where some pointer should be placed, contact me as well and we'll figure something out. Places that I'd like to mark: Gunsmokes church Phoenixes hideout Rainmaikers home Buttercups home Blossoms home (if it's somewhere else) Bubbles home (if it's somewhere else) Chase home (I think it was in the basements of OSU, but I'm not sure) Jumpdrives home/office The bridge where Iron Ogress was fought (I don't know which one is it, I couldn't find Harrison Street Bridge) I can start on adding Portland stuff based off our old map once I find it and I'm added to this one. I've been imagining Portland and the Dalles in my own way, well all the cities really, but for major locations, I think it is a good idea for a rough location. At least ones where the location of buildings is important, like the boundaries of territory in Portland.

I feel with you in that being to strict would put unwanted restrictions on us but I also remember parts of the Panda invasion making no sense because a map wasn't consulted.

Mailliw73 he/him Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 (edited) I discovered that if you search something and a post with attachments straight from a computer come up, the images are still there, but not in the actual post, only the search menu. I think that would just result in everyone avoiding chocolate factories because VG is too nice to have to be faced with her worst fear. Now if Nighthounds could be found there... EDIT: Also I noticed Portland has a section on the map now, the only really important location I can think to add would be the MEE HQ out near Gresham at Centennial High School. DOUBLE EDIT: After browsing the map a bit more I noticed that there's a place called Battle ground a few short miles from Portland. I think it's technically in another state but I'm sure the destruction spilled over. Location for the final battle anyone? Edited July 30, 2015 by Voidus 2
