I've got just one question for you:

Can you do the hippogriff (nana na, nana na, nana na!)

Posted

No. No, I cannot. :P I have, however, been known to put on wizard robes and strike dynamic poses in movie theaters while friends take pictures and other customers look on in confusion.

Heck yeah! At opening night for the last movie, we all took a "what house are you in" test. Now, for the final opening night, we're gonna be sporting our individual house robes. Good times.

Also, MoanIng Myrtle is REALLY creepy in this movie. Way creepier than rejuvenated-Voldemort (and only slightly less creepy than baby-Voldemort)

I head bobbed to this, take 5 AWESOME POINTS.

Me at the HBP premiere. And holy crap, yes. She's terrifying. And pretty perverted, too. o__O

Sweet picture. 5 AWESOME POINTS for you too.

Myrtle's hilarious she's just so pervy, it makes me laugh so hard.

Man, it is raining awesome around here!

Currently watching a series of classic fantasy movies while pulling an all-nighter for work. Up now: Willow. Oh, the Val Kilmer quotes we could quote...

Since I just finished The Fellowship of the Ring yesterday it is my intention to watch the movie, finally. Maybe it'll keep things clearer in my head going into Two Towers. What's weird is that they have Fellowship available for instant watch on netflix, but not two towers. Weird.

I watched the one on instant watch, which I'm pretty sure is the not-extended one. You can tell you have a bulky movie when the SHORT version is three hours long. lol

But I was impressed, it was really good. I felt like the stuff they got rid of was a good call. (why Tom Bombadil exists is a conundrum that I doubt will ever be answered) And I actually teared up at the end. Good stuff.

Frodo's gift is in the not extended version, so it actually isn't surprising. The rest of the gifts aren't, though, and it's a cool scene. Return of the King has the coolest extra scenes, in my opinion.

I just started watching "The Tudors". So far so good. It's pretty interesting. Kind of a high-quality soap set in 16th century England.

Okay, I feel like I'm getting into all of these non-theory threads kinda late, but whatever. It's just too fun to watch my post count go up. That and I am addicted to awesome points and Silus seems to be applying them to this thread liberally.

Obsession for the moment: Merlin. I think someone mentioned this earlier but I cannot get over this show. It's about the Arthurian court when they are teenagers (Arthur's a prince and a

, Merlin's his servant who has to hide his magic because it's illegal while trying to learn how to use it, Guinevere is a servant girl called Gwen). The character interactions are just adorable, especially Merlin and Arthur.

It's total brain candy for me. The storytelling is alright (the first season is average but the second and third are much better) and they take some artistic license with the original mythology, so watch out if that's super important to you. Basically the characters are what sell it for me. And I'm a fangirl, so cute guys, shipping wars, and hints of bromance (Merlin and Arthur are just so squeefully

) mixed with magic and a medieval setting? I'm sold.

Other than that, I don't watch much TV. I watch Big Bang Theory, but only through Netflix, so I'm about a season behind TV. I like the shows on USA but the only one I really follow is White Collar (and that's for Caffrey, who reminds me of Kelsier for some reason...)

Addicted after only five points. I must give my chemist a raise. MWAHAHAHA!

Curse you and your drugs of awesome!

If you are addicted after five points what does that make me? Does this mean I get to qualify for Intervention?
