Maybe we of the 17th shard can lean on him a bit to finish the first five Stormlight books first, then do a side project or two.

Maybe we of the 17th shard can lean on him a bit to finish the first five Stormlight books first, then do a side project or two. That wouldn't get us the books any faster, it might even slow him down. Those side projects are part of what keeps Brandon fresh for writing Stormlight, if he tried write them back-to-back he would get burned out. DreamEternal
That wouldn't get us the books any faster, it might even slow him down. Those side projects are part of what keeps Brandon fresh for writing Stormlight, if he tried write them back-to-back he would get burned out. Maybe the best way was if he wrote more stand-alone books between his main series while avoiding starting new series? Of course, that is all hypothetical, you can't tell an author to tame their creativity. Edited August 30, 2015 by CognitivePulsePattern
