Varyn he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 This is similar to Silverblade5's "Sanderson 20 Questions", but I wanted to do the same solely for Cosmere. Rules: There is no limit to the amount of questions that can be asked, and the person posing the question can decide personally whether they want to occasionally drop a hint every now and then to help the other members guessing out. The things can be virtually anything that is mentioned in the Cosmere universe, and things that exist out of it that are obviously shown in the universe. They can be from any published Cosmere novel, and perhaps the unpublished novel Mythwalker, but any other unpublished, or forthcoming books that have excerpts with the thing in, should be omitted. I'm going to begin, so start guessing.
Silverblade5 he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Is it on Roshar? Is it on Nalthis? Is it on Scadrial? Is it on Therondy? Is it on Sel? Is it alive?

Silverblade5 he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 It is on Roshar, and it is not a sentient being, no. Is it directly connected to investitude?
Varyn he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Is it directly connected to investitude? There is no evidence for either yes or no, though I would say even if it is, it is not directly.
Varyn he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Do we have it on Earth? We have things like it, but not it in particular.
Varyn he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 Is it a manufactured item?It is man-made, yes, though there is only 1 of it.
Silverblade5 he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 It is man-made, yes, though there is only 1 of it. Is it a kind of food?
Emerald101 he/him Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Is it from Roshar originally? Is it bigger than a breadbox? Is it Biotic? Is Kaladin in any way aware of it's existence?
Guest Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 Is it an oathstone? That was going to be my guess... stupid timing. :-)
High prince of geeks he/him Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 Is it the black gem the king gave that sveth
Titan Arum Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 (edited) Is it the black gem the king gave that sveth Stormlight Archive Isn't the black stone most likely of Odium and thus not man made? Me: he sphere which Gavilar found that Szeth now has--I've been lead to believe that it either is or was heavily invested Brandon: Yes Me: Is it still heavily invested? Brandon: Yes Me: So, it hasn't, like, gone dun or anything Brandon: No, it has not Me: And I'm going to take that to mean it wasn't invested with Stormlight--was it invested by Odium? Brandon: Something like that. (source) Edited June 26, 2015 by Titan Arum 1

Guest Posted June 26, 2015 Posted June 26, 2015 (edited) Yes or no for Oathstone? Edit: nevermind. Oathstone is definitely much smaller than a car. Edited June 26, 2015 by LabRat
