Let us suppose for a minute that you have just stepped into the Well of Artistic Acension and the power to make awesome costumes now flows through your fingers, wiping away any clumsiness previously limiting you. You also happen to be able to summon any materials needed. 

 

Given this, if you were to cosplay as anyone from Brandon's work, who would it be?

Either Kelsier in his mistcloak, Lightsong, Kaladin during the final fight in WOR or Adolin in his Shardplate

Any materials needed... hmm... Does that mean I could cosplay Elend and summon a bead of actual lerasium? Or Adolin with an actual set of Blade and Plate?

 

All ridiculousness aside, I have to go with Breeze.

HoA spoilers: 

 

I would cosplay as... Ruin.

 

I'm assuming I am attending a convention. Covertly, ever so discreetly, I would have everyone else in attendance wired to a personal radio feed. I could deliver anyone in the crowd a message at any time, with them oblivious to the fact that they'd been wired.

 

At the official opening of the con, all the earliest attenders would be graced with my booming voice over the speakers, declaring "I AM FREE!"

 

From that moment on, I would give messages to everyone in the convention. Some I would whisper to quietly, urging them to kill, destroy, or drive spikes through their nearest neighbors. Others I would casually chat with, trying to convince them of the virtues of entropy. Still others would be menaced by the finest tuning technology I could procure, which I'd use to give intimidating messages in the voices of their loved ones.

 

It would be madness.

 

It would be beautiful.

 

The convention would officially have been... RUINED! MUAHAHAHAHA!!

Shallan.

Havah's are beautiful, and Navani or Jasnah would be too intimidating to play . Plus Shallan gets a shardblade, tortured past, all kinds of awesomeness. We don't know enough about Navani or Jasnah's past (IMO) for the same effect.

 

Or really, any lighteyes Vorin because havah.

@Kobold King: That is a truly awesome idea. I would love to see you pull it off someday.

 

If I wasn't restricted by minor details like reality, I'd love to turn up at a cosplay event as a chasmfiend.

 

Or, wear all black, apart from a few small patches of white, and one, slightly larger, patch of red. Go as the Cosmere itself.

 

Dye lots of cotton wool black, make a huge costume out of it all, and go as the Stormfather.

 

Slightly more realistic, get some long, straight robes, and a hat/mask with those odd symbols on them, go as a Cryptic.

Sazed or Wax. It'd be sweet to wear Terrisman robes, and Dusters kick chull. I wouldn't necessarily go with the huge side burns that Wax has though....ew.

I agree with @Delightful, any Vorin lighteyed woman will do Havah is unique and beautiful!

My second choice will possibly be Shai. For me, those traditional costumes are easy to obtain/make and honestly, I may look a bit like her Plus, I have a set of chisels and some hand-made seals at home.

I would also like to try Spook in HoA just because the whole outfit is so cool

I'll admit for an actual costume, Spook's would probably be the one I went for.
