Almighty preserve us, if it does turn out to be Lift or Lopen or in any way focused on humor, I think I will have to pass. Sorry, I have nothing against these characters or Brandon's brand of humor, but for me it is not his stong point, and it is better in moderation.

Rysn, Axies, Wit, Zahel, Rock, Renarin or Mraize please!!!

Want Rysn / Axies most. They are easily my favourite minor characters in SA, and I would thank Brandon a thousand times for mentioning their meeting in WoR XD

Also happy to see a Jasnah / Lift / Lopen novella, which is more possible =)

Still have hope of a Herald novella. (Strange, but I'd love to know more about Kalak and Taln.)

Yeah i like Lopen a lot and i think he's funny and great at comic relief but i wouldn't want to waste a whole novel on him.

Not when it's to lessen the wait for SA3 and learn more of the Cosmere.  Yeah, Jasnah is probably too main character for the novella.

I'd like to see a Helaran, Mraize, Lift, Axies type Novel. Something we could generally learn something from,

 

Helaran = Asking Wit to pass a message to his father, Attacking Kals crew, Learn finally that he didn't have an Honorblade.

 

Mraize = Learn about him, Iyatil and the Ghostblood crew.

 

Lift = An interesting character we could learn more about her and this 'Shadow City.' (Hopefully her Spren would rant and drop more interesting hints)

 

Axies = Learn more about his Immortality, the Spren and the culture and the differences between Dysian Aimians and Siah Aimians.

Maxal I know what you mean about the main characters but I think we are looking at this only two books in. Although I would not consider several as main characters they will be. 

 

Like Botanica I would love to see a Herald Novella. Taln, Kalak or maybe even Shalash. I doubt we will get a lot of POV of these characters so a Novella featuring one would be great. Although it may be to spoilery. 

 

After that Mraize, Lift, Axies or Rysn. Possible even the two characters (cant remember their names) that were studying spren. As much as I love Lopen I cant imagine reading a Novella solely about him.

Gavilar would be good, Really neat idea! Would probably spoil flashback material for Highprince of War though.

He has his own series already, he doesn't need a novella

Besides, it's not really a series if it's one "stand alone" book, correct? Or, as a series, he has all ready spread across worlds! Until it is revealed that he is, in fact:

Maxal I know what you mean about the main characters but I think we are looking at this only two books in. Although I would not consider several as main characters they will be. 

 

Precisely, I have read only two books and in these two books, those characters are secondary. I do know Brandon has plans for the future, but I just can't go on calling a character "main" when he (or she) has all but two POV in 2000 pages! It also is a hyperbole for Brandon to state so and to expect fans to consider them as such, no matter how much he has shared of his plans. These characters currently are secondary and won't be major until Brandon writes them as such which may happen in the next book or in the second half.

 

So far, I consider Brandon has two strong major characters: Kaladin and Shallan. Dalinar is a lesser main character and Adolin evolved from a secondary character in WoK to a strong secondary character in WoR with potential to be promoted, but probably not as Brandon never names him in his future plans 

 

All the other ones I consider as side characters. 

 

 

Who wants a Mraize or Gavilar novella?

 

I would love a Galivar novella!!!! Good idea
