I think I will wait until Converter has been captured to reincarnate - is he being taken to a secure location or incarcerated where he is?

?

He is reincarnated from the ashes in an hour.

Maybe it's just the wording but I'm pretty sure you have to wait from how you described his powers.

(Also Converter is a she. )

You actually used it! :D:lol:

It almost makes up for Nighthound still being alive in the scene... almost.

Wait...Nighthound didn't die?

Dang it. I was gonna come back and say this awesome, witty thing about Nighthound dying, and now...thanks guys.

Dog and Pony Show is one of my favourite episodes thus far, but then, I'm a huge Rarity fan so that makes sense.

Woe to anyone who manages to capture Lucentia.

I found myself a pretty big Applejack fan. Imagine how betrayed I feelt in my hope that Appalosa's most wanted might be dedicated to her.

Woe to anyone that interacts with Lucentia.

Also Vondra just listened to quite the story.

I did a brief one-shot in WHOOC. Pretty crappy, but it's a concept/storyline that I might want to use sometime in canon, so I figured I would just put it out there.

So just hypothetically speaking does anyone know what would happen to someone if, say some drug-addled momentum manipulator decided they weren't smiling enough and split their lower jaw open?
Something bad?
I'm gonna go with something bad.

Yeah. Yeah, it'll be something bad.

Less makeup and more of a fondness for jelly beans but yeah pretty much.

Now if only Funtimes could find her and bribe her back to the good side with a mountain of jelly beans...

I don't think Funtimes would be a good influence on Impact right about now.

Or that Impact would be a good influence on Funtimes.

Is it possible that after meeting, the two of them ran into the trifecta and proceeded to curbstomp them into oblivion which then relieves all of their anger so they go back to being nice?

You have good ideas. Non-canon ideas, but good ones.

The poor panda, he had such beautiful fur.:P

Mind giving both of us a refresher on how the finer detail of his powers worked? I still have the basics down but could use a reminder on some of the details, like what happens to the momentum of lets say bullets his decay field causes to rust and if his healing factor can heal him from fatal wounds for example to vital organs.

(Looking back at it, his powers make him one of the hardest, if not the hardest character to actually kill in the Dalles.)

Not sure how in character it would be for Funtimes to fight the Trifecta, actually, even before her shift to the darker. Her reaction to Corpsemaker snapping back in the bank, which was mostly her fault to begin with, was to teleport away and just abandon everyone else to to Corpsemaker's rage and she has actually helped creating an environment in which Nighthound and Lightwards can kill as freely as they are doing, so yeah helping random people she doesn't know wasn't exactly a part of her M.O. until now.

If your talking about Team Funacid, she's not really even helping them. More just keeping them safe because she wants friends. And I think the whole curbstomping the Trifecta thing was a joke, anyway.

I'm not talking about Teamfunacid, trust me. Heck, in Sam's case she caused her mother to be taken hostake and a family friend killed by dragging her in the spotlight. I dunno, maybe I just kinda jumped on that joke because everyone treats her like she's a good person even though agreeing to work with Lightwards and Nighthound because the former drew a smiley on a map puts her pretty squarely in the villain territory.

She's definitely not a good person. I might joke about it, but I don't see her as a hero. Just a more cheerful villain who'd rather people be afraid of how much they love her (to borrow from Michael Scott) than to just fear her.

Edge, I'll try to address both of your points.

Bullets wouldn't faze him. At all. Honestly, virtually any inanimate/dead/inorganic object that someone tries to kill him with doesn't have a chance. The precog-style Decay field that would switch on would utterly destroy whatever the object was. However, if you threw a Panda at him, the Decay would just burn the fur off, not the actual Panda. He might Blur out of the way, but generally speaking, you could knock him down with a fist to the head. Now, if someone wasn't trying to injure him, the Decay field would not switch on. So there are instances where he could be killed, say, in a large scale battle if the trauma was severe enough.

Momentum, hm. This is an area that I have not thought a ton about, probably because I've been visualizing his Danger Decay as an instantaneous process. However, that does create an interesting problem. Say someone kicked Ozymandias off a cliff. How far would he burn through the ground at the bottom? I welcome your opinion on that.

Healing: Not instantaneous, but yes, it can heal vital organs. Think of it like Prof in Steelheart, when Steelheart squished his face. He didn't get up immediately, but he did get up. I can't describe the process much better than that, because it's so absurdly unrealistic, but hopefully you get the idea.

So with all that said, what could kill Ozymandias? Well, there are (as of right now) a few things.

1. Head being cut off accidentally.

2. Weakness being activated.

3. Traps (And I'm not sure about these. What do you think?).

Now that you mention it, he is almost absurdly hard to kill. :P

Suggestions?

So with an explosion the debris wouldn't hurt him but the shock wave and heat could?

Well, given that the field works exactly on his skin whatever kind of dust, gas, atom or whatever he turns the ground into would still gather under him, unable to escape and pretty quickly build up some pressure that would cause his fall to end rather violently... I think.

Wait, his healing is powerful enough to constitue Prime Invincibility? That pretty much puts him into the double High Epic category reserved for Prof. (Maybe we should come up with a term for Prof's status, how about Exalted Epic?)

Working with the Steelheart suicide principle traps should get by his protection, as long as they work with a trigger he activates, yes. Although he would probably be fast enough to doge most traps anyway.

Yes.

Good point.

If you say so. Maybe it's because of the way I want to write him, but he jusr doesn't feel like a High Epic to me. He doesn't have any offensive powers to speak of, and he's not very antagonistic, so I don't think he will cause a power issue in the Dalles. If anything, he's trying to keep a reasonably low profile, while still working his way up to the top.

Yep, he would be fast enough to dodge them, but only if he knew they were there. His Speed doesn't kick on with the danger sense.

His speed is actually all the offensive power he needs to kill most of the characters in the Dalles without much of a problem. High Epic status is very rare in the location. Throwing both his decay and PI healing in the mix makes him easily the strongest character in the location.

Yeah but even assuming that the trigger isn't enough to tip him of his healing would mean he could survive most traps anyway.

Posted

Oh. Luckily he doesn't want to kill everyone. If he did that, Reckoners and other Epics might start to come after him.

True. Which is why it would need a trap that cut off his head. Although there is a very specific type of trap that would kill him quite easily... :P

Ok got a new epic that I would like to place in Corvallis as a citizen (In other words he is known to the Queens etc.)

Epic Name: Mannequin the Puppet Master

Primary Power: Puppet Control: He can seize control of any inanimate object, though the closer the object is to human, the easier. He can control any number of objects, but more objects or straining an object outside of its normal movement range, requires more energy.

Secondary PowerDirect Control: He can transfer consciousness directly of any one puppet to more precisely control the puppet or in order to escape harm. Doing this places his normal body at extreme risk. The range away from his body is currently unknown.

Tertiary Power: Puppet Body: upon death of his original body, he can transmit his consciousness to any dead body and take control of his new body. The body must be close and still generally usable.
