Redbird he/him Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Psych: the Musical, even though I am not a fan of musicals, it is probably one of the best episodes.
traceria she/her Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 Star Trek: Deep Space 9. We're in the final season, and we totally drank a bottle and a half of wine between the two of us last night and laughed our heads off during a Ferengi episode. We're not geeks at all...nope. I think we'd both had a long day at work. And it was really good wine. On my own I've been watching Inspector Lewis and have really been enjoying it! 3

Forget learning to speak Klingon or making schematics of Vulcan starships; if I ever become an obsessive Trekkie, I'm memorizing the Rules of Acquisition. 2

Also, it's quite fun to mimic the laugh of Grand Nagus Zek. 2
Kestrel she/her Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Star Wars Episode 3 Like the last of the new movies It was just as bad as I remembered it, but at least the fight scenes were interesting. 1
-Deleted- Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Fury Road, Fury Road, Fury Road. That is by far one of the greatest things I have ever witnessed with my eyes. I watched it last night. It was so amazing. Words can't express. if you haven't seen it, do everything you can to do so, you won't be let down. "What a day, what a lovely day!" i watched Se7en a few hours before, and it was really good. But there are very few things I have seen as epic, as full of energy, and as full of ideological battle, and certainly nothing as beautiful, as Fury Road. It takes all the energy, life, action, and themes Mad Max has always had, and enhanced it to the max (pun intended.) And we finally got to see how mad he really is. Fury Road is a Feminist epic in the form of a two-hour car chase through the junkyard desert world we have known to be Mad Max's apocalyptic world. And, in true Mad Max style, you can watch it without watching the other movies. (Not that you shouldn't see them, they're awesome.) There are so many things I am absolutely shocked Hollywood allowed him to do with this movie, but i'm not questioning it, I am just glad we have it. Fury Road is visually stunning, emotionally moving, and is one of the most striking visions of what art is capable of doing. This is someone's vision of what a film can be, and it is one of the ultimate takes on what movies can be; this movie will go down in history as one of the most inventive things to come out of the movie industry, and it deserves such praise and more. This is the type of thing that will influence people to make their own movies. I know this, because I have always wanted to do movies someday, but I have never been compelled the way I am now. Go take a ride on Fury Road. 3
Tetriona she/her Posted June 24, 2015 Posted June 24, 2015 Just finished watching the first episode of The Last Ship season 2! I highly recommend it!
Bort he/him Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Star Trek: Deep Space 9. Would that be the Magnificent Ferengi, where they have to go and rescue Moogie (or was it Zek?) from the Dominion? That was truly an awesome episode, and ranks somewhere in my top 5 DS9 episodes of all time. I've recently finished watching season 7 of Castle, as season 8 has just started. Also have queued to watch season 3 of Agents of SHIELD (started yesterday), season 2 of Flash (next tuesday), season 4 of Arrow (next wednesday), season 5 of Once Upon a Time (starts sometime soon), season 6 of Walking Dead (starts next month), Dr Who (great start to the new series). Good TV shows are like buses. Months of waiting for one, and then 7 come along at once.
nicocoberru she/her Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Hhhmm. Last show I watched was Daredevil and wow. It's good. I can't believe I'm actually cheering for the Big Bad's relationship. Plus Vanessa is sooo pretty I think I have a new crush. Can't help it. I'm weak to women with evil smirks. I haven't seen anyone mention How to Get Away with Murder yet. It's a, um, a law series? Mixed with mystery. And everyone in the main cast (except one) has done some pretty dubious things during the show. Six of them had killed people, two cheated on their partners and every single one of them has done blackmail. I still don't know why I'm cheering on them XD I'm also waiting for the next episode of Gravity Falls. It's cartoons, yes. It's marketed for kids, yes. But there's something about its crazy conspiracy theories that makes me love it so much. Plus, Dipper's the character that I can relate with the most. He's like the mini-genderbent me. I also love, LOVE, Sense8. Every character is just so precious and beautiful. As for movies, nothing will ever beat the sense of wonder that I get everytime I watch How to Train Your Dragon. I swear I cried in the theaters when I watched HTTYD2 and heard the "Where no one goes" song. 1
Robinski he/him Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 X-Files Episode 2 - the great re-watch (2nd Edition) is in its infancy, but going well so far (Scully is toooooo dreamy - sigh). 1
