i am pretty sure it's not time travel.

don't have confirmation, but based on what we know

Spoiler

in the spiritual realm time can pass at different speeds. twenty years can be compressed in one hour.

so, december never really lived her life. she just had an interactive vision at super accelerated speed. we saw something very similar in SA5. she went to sleep the day before her marriage, she somehow enterede the spiritual realm where she had a vision of a possible future, and she woke up the same day.

That's one theory. But at the same time, Hoid says

"I always keep my promises- save for when it's more narratively interesting to break them of course."

Sanderson is winking at us.

All we can do is Read And Find Out...

i really hope sanderson does not do something so reckless. time travel breaks narrative continuity. it breaks the plot. it breaks suspence; why bother caring about anything, if it can be easily retconned?
