Scans of the fossilized skull of Allosaurus atrox, which just happens to be the species Neverthere has encountered, indicate that Allosaurus possessed a brain in almost all ways identical to that of modern crocodiles. A pair of brief Google searches confirm that modern crocodiles' brains are affected by alcohol in much the same way as humans. (The searches also brought up a plethora of articles about drunken Australian men trying to ride saltwater crocodiles, but that is neither here nor there.) I'm not sure how saurian drunkenness would manifest. I have the sneaky suspicion that all it would really do is make the Allosaurus drowsy and sluggish. I have no way of authenticating this hypothesis, however. You know, in a way it's a shame that this is a solely hypothetical question. I'd rather like to see something like this in the RP.
