Guest Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 A thought occurred to me: Until now weaknesses haven't really played a role in any part of the RP but given what is running around in Astoria it's really just a matter of time until it does and given how strong many Epics there are there the possibility of records about them existing is also pretty high. (Greetings from David's magic notes ) (Not that I know how easy it would be to exploit them for a good deal of weaknesses given that I haven't been told a good deal of them yet. ) Just thought I should raise the point for people to discuss. Anybody who's been around Nightshade and Midnight Tears for a reasonable amount of time would know theirs, and I can see it leaking.
Voidus Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I'll just change his name. How 'bout Coal? Sounds good to me. The Adventurer's is pretty easy to exploit but difficult to guess, since he believes his reality isn't real he doesn't really fear his weakness that much, there may be some clues but you'd have to be watching him pretty carefully. Bioterror's would probably be pretty well known but it's difficult to exploit. Once he arrives in Astoria I might even just tell people what it is.
Tulir he/him Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Ok, who should Vis Vires go after? Because as it is, he currently is likely to find his way over to the Nightshade/Azrael conflict/situation, but if anyone wants him in another region I can write him there. Tonight I'll post for him regardless.
mail-mi he/him Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 So, the Trifecta's dinosaur-sized time-out. Canon or fanon?
Kobold King he/him Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 So, the Trifecta's dinosaur-sized time-out. Canon or fanon? I'm in favor of making it canon, myself. Some discussion of Numnums meeting Quota has taken place.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 So, the Trifecta's dinosaur-sized time-out. Canon or fanon? I'm planning on at least Quota getting injured. Nothing life-threatening for now, but enough to make him completely fail to act manly when whoever is in charge of binding wounds in the Dominion comes to bind his wound. I was going to have it happen after he targets Funtimes, but I just realized it'll work just as well if he targets her after he's injured. 1

If we wanted to be especially therapeutic, then Numnums could rampage through the neighborhood and distract the Trifecta long enough for a few partially undressed women to sneak away. 3

Quota isn't good at handling pain. I like the way you think. And if we wanted to ensure their safety for the rest of the night—or even long enough for them to escape the Dominion—they could be escorted out by a pack of Protector Dogs. Did someone say dinosaur attack? With the Trifecta. You can't forget that part. 1
Voidus Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Neverthere is only ever capable of helping people by accident and with the aid of resurrected dinosaurs. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 Neverthere is only ever capable of helping people by accident and with the aid of resurrected dinosaurs. There are some quotes that I want to print out in fancy font and frame for my house. This is one of them. 2

Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I'm in favor of making it canon, myself. Some discussion of Numnums meeting Quota has taken place. I'm obliged to stay true to Electro and if this happens, Neverthere will find her prehistoric buddy suddenly headless. :/ If Numnums happens to come up behind them while Electro is distracted and manages to injure Quote before, then who am I to stop it. The mere thought of that's enough to make me laugh. It's a bit too late for that... But now I wish we had realized that before we planned the hunt. 1

Edit: Technically, we only showed the beginning of the hunt. Numnums and Neverthere could interrupt it at any point. Edited February 24, 2015 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 3

That is an excellent way to ensure that he has an irritating girl who can't be killed following him forever and breaking into song every time he tries to talk. No one kills her Numnums and gets away with it 3

That is an excellent way to ensure that he has an irritating girl who can't be killed following him forever and breaking into song every time he tries to talk. No one kills her Numnums and gets away with it These are both very valid points that would require absolutely no plot armor to avoid it. :) 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 If she agrees to serve Lightwards, then Numnums could become a renewable resource for her. And pundits make a big deal about fossil fuels being non-renewable. Pfft. Shows what they know. 2
Voidus Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 If she agrees to serve Lightwards, then Numnums could become a renewable resource for her.' They may have different ideas of what 'serving' entails Hint: Neverthere's version involves a parade and many, many bonbons. 4
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 They may have different ideas of what 'serving' entails Hint: Neverthere's version involves a parade and many, many bonbons. Weird. Funtimes' version looks almost exactly like this. 4
Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Argh! Quota caught me again! Storm it, Numnums will injure Quota. 1
Voidus Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Weird. Funtimes' version looks almost exactly like this. Neverthere's bonbons may include slabs of bloody meat to attract nearby dinosaurs into eating the owners of said bonbons.

Now whenever someone uses the phrase "fossil fuel," I'll picture a dozen velociraptors jogging on a treadmill to generate electricity. Thanks. Weird. Funtimes' version looks almost exactly like this. Poor Lightwards. He just can't seem to find decent allies. 3
Mailliw73 he/him Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Neverthere's bonbons may include slabs of bloody meat to attract nearby dinosaurs into eating the owners of said bonbons. Sounds like a mix between Nighthound and Funtimes's personalities.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 Argh! Quota caught me again! Storm it, Numnums will injure Quota. Yessssss. Neverthere's bonbons may include slabs of bloody meat to attract nearby dinosaurs into eating the owners of said bonbons. Funtimes' version would only include this if the owners of said bonbons were Lightwards and Nighthound.
