Yes, definitely, and absolutely. The "absolutely" is in answer to your next question: "Would she refuse to use atium because of how shiny it was, preferring to put it in her hair and viciously attack any meanieface who attempted to steal it?" :P

There is a French term called esprit de l'escalier. (I think I spelled that right. Literally "spirit of the staircase," it refers to any time you think of the perfect thing to say when it's too late to actually say it-- like the perfect retort when you're on the stairs after leaving your friend's apartment.

I experienced this today when I thought to post "Are there any other notable Epic despots in the West, in states like California, Arizona, Wyoming, Alaska, and so on?" ....AFTER the Chicago signing was already underway. <_<

Post it anyway! People look at the forums on their phones, and they might see it!

Altermind I can see as a powerful half-skaa Soother or Rioter, who uses a combination of his Allomancy and hallucinogenic drugs to rule a crime den as a vicious illusionist.

Quota is obviously the world's slontziest Soother, and Reader is Breeze's evil half-brother.

Augh. That question is awesome. You should post it so maybe someone can ask it next signing.

I posted it, so here's hoping someone gets to it. *fingers crossed* On a personal level, it would help me figure out exactly how much freedom I have with Funtimes' backstory (I don't think Brandon's done anything for Alaska yet, but his worldbuilding is so detailed I'm a little worried) and I think it would be good to know exactly where our characters shouldn't go once Oregon is destroyed.

Also, when Mistborn!Funtimes rescued skaa!Nathan from nobleman!Fortuity, she would answer nobleman!Fortuity's very reasonable question of "Who are you, what are you doing here, and why are you stealing my property" like so:

"You, my meanie-faced fiend, are not permitted to know my name. You may call me 'The Glittering One.' As for what I am doing here, I was answering the cry of the Deep Doo-Doo Bird! But alas, now that the one who made the cry is safe with me, I still hear it. Who could now be making the cry of the Deep Doo-Doo Bird? Oh. Of course."

*whips out glass knives*

"It is you."

(Please read the above quote in a corny, fake Spanish accent for extra accuracy. :P)

Yeah, there's not a lot I wouldn't give for a map of the Fractured States. The Bandersnatch's worldbuilding is incredibly detailed--I'm still convinced that he actually planned out precisely what happened in Oregon before he wrote the reference in Firefight. <_< So I'd love to hear about what despots and factions he envisioned as inhabiting the Fractured States, both because his worldbuilding is awesome and because of how helpful it would be for our RP.

Seriously. We need an Illustrated Guide to Epics. I'm tempted to make a topic for it just so fans can gush about what they'd most like details about. (And to potentially draw the attention of a certain man whose name begins with "Peter" and ends with "Ahlstrom.")

Yes, I read that in Antonio Banderas' voice. And yes, I'm still in the throes of imagining the "What Happened in Luthadel" that could have been. :P

That's a bug we've known about for a while now. Unfortunately none of us has a better answer than "forum wizards;" reckon someone should shoot Chaos a PM an Alan?

I'm pretty sure shooting Alan goes against the law, not only the forum policies. :P

Me too. With any luck, it's just headcanon and he'll leave it vague so we can continue on our merry way without worrying about canon. Of course, now that I said that, he'll probably pull a Rowling and release a detailed outline of what happened not only in Oregon, but in every town and city from Toronto to Lost Springs, Wyoming (which had 4 people in the 2010 census). <_< I mean, I certainly wouldn't complain about the additional worldbuilding, but it would almost certainly clash with our current fanon.

What would Lightwards be doing in Luthadel?

Seconded!

PP calls dibs on being Zane.

And the Trifecta calls being the evil counterpart to Elend's group. :P

Edge, what are the borders of Astoria like? I have the rest of the Destructors' post written, I just need the actual entrance into the city. It'll be big and obvious. They don't do anything subtle. :P

Did anyone else want to have any conflicts in the Thoughttown attack? Otherwise I might wrap it up and have someone report back to the MEE HQ.

Fatebreaker had one and I need to finish up Flashpoint's, but if you want, I can always do that as a flashback.

Okay, I'll try to get it up today.

Ah, okay, that makes more sense now. I didn't realize she could move light and sound. So, how has she assimilated all this blood? Is it similar to what Canis did in having all his citizens create a small cut in themselves and then he touched each person's?

Something similar just less obvious but probably also more tedious, by having blood seep through their skin and then using already effected people as a proxy.

I was thinking about the Metal's ablity to intensify or lessen sound and I was wondering; does he sing extremely girly songs in the shower and use his powers so his macho man reputation is upheld? I can't get that though out of my head.

Who knows, maybe he sings the MLP theme song. (This statement is not canon. )

PP calls dibs on being Zane.

But Zane doesn't have a P in his name.

Around the town perimeter would be something best described as a row of house sized diamond thorns, making it rather clears whose territory one would be entering. After that nothing special.

Well, our hopes of getting Reckoner questions at the signing seem to have been crushed. :(

On the up side, new Metal post.

You listened to the audio from the last signing? I haven't had the chance....so there weren't any Reckoners questions at all? :(

I don't think so. Argent said he forgot and Kurk doesn't really care about Reckoners, I don't think. He specializes in time bubbles and FTL.

I was revering mostly to people on the side asking for us. I haven't listened to the entire audio yet, but I don't hold much hope for what's remaining containing something useful. But hey, we may get something.

Guess what? I'm not the cuddly baby dragon in this picture.

The Metal's as awesomely horrible as always, by the way.

Neither am I but the random people may bless us.

He's interesting in that he isn't so much cruel as he is... not acknowledging that other people have rights.

I don't really feel that I've done him justice with his first two posts but maybe that's just because I'm feeling a little bit sick.

I find it funny that an Epic is trying to stop another Epic torturing a vanilla.

He isn't so much trying to keep her from torturing the girl as he just wants her to behave in general. About the girl herself he couldn't care less.

So I made a comic for the an illustrated guide to Epics topic (and had to fix its size. <_< )

In the process of its creation I played around with what happens should you use an old code in the new creator. I call the result Shiny Nighthound.

(Little update on the audio: after 1h 15min the only Reckoner question was about how he comes up with powers and names, which I'm pretty sure he was asked already..)

I….I don't know whether to laugh or cry, but I can't stop looking at it.

<_< Of course. The Cosmere fans come out in force, but the only Reckoners question is the equivalent of "Why does Hermione Granger have such a funny name?"

Agreed.:D And the comic itself is great! :D

Not one person asked about Night's Sorrow. Not one person.    Twilight_annoyed_by_hyperactive_clones_S

It was an awesome comic. :D

I know! They ask lots of questions that don't matter, and lots of Cosmere questions, but when it comes to things people actually want to know? Argh. I almost wish Brandon would make a rule that at signings, questions about the book he's hosting the signing for should always take precedence. Because if we could get someone who cares about the Reckonersverse at every signing, I'd be so happy I just might….I might….
