Glad you like her! :) We'll see what mail-mi has to say about her.

I found a few tutorials for drawing unicorn auras, but they're all written for programs I've never heard of.:P

I still refuse to be converted to ponies, but...she's cute. ;)

Would a pony comic of Timeport losing spectacularly change your mind?

It might help.

Any votes for who he should lose to? Moral Guardian? Funtimes? Backtrack?

....nope, he's going to lose to Fantomah. :D

Metronome. Everyone loses to Metronome in the end. :P

I want in on the fun!

But why, you ask, are Sam and Timeport playing chess in the Cutie Mark Crusader's clubhouse? Make up your own reasons. I'm as stumped as any of you. :P

I still want to see Timeport losing to Fantomah, though. :D

All of the above? :P

Once I have access to the pony creator again, I will ponify the glorious curbstomp between Timeport and Fantomah. :D

Or, to quote an image caption which I feel describes this RP perfectly,

You're supposed to pay attention to the look of defeat on Timeport's face. Not the board. :P

My headcanon: Timeport insisted they play from the wrong side of the board. Sam tried to correct him, but he fingered his battleaxe, so she agreed to play. And Sam STILL won. :P

And then Funtimes teleported in, blew a raspberry at him, and teleported Sam away before he could do anything particularly horrid to our innovative victor? :P

Yes. It happened exactly like that. :P

The scene that could have been. :P (Though for the record, Timeport entering the same room as any of the vanillas is to be avoided at all costs. Unless he's entering a room with Angel Zoe Finch, and then only if she's heavily armed and bearing his weakness.)

Out of curiosity, how many rooms are in the Tillamook cottage? Did Funtimes account for things like bathrooms or showers or internal heating?

Preferably with Remington and at least one Reckoner running support.

Let's see....there's the main area/Remington's room, Sam and Revolution's room, the room Funtimes shares with Nathan, and a small kitchen. There are two bathrooms, wiring for electrical lights run by a generator, and central heating. If they looked in the fridge they'd find milk and eggs, and if they opened the freezer they'd find ice cream. That's all Funtimes thought to stock them with when she made them.

They can stand by, but my internal karma-meter demands that Angel deal the killing blow.

Cool. Two more questions:

  • How likely would it be for one of the cottage's faucets to issue lemonade, like another Doctor designed in a certain Christmas special?
  • And what kind of ice cream? This is the kind of important detail that literature is made of. :P

The lemonade faucet is about as likely as Timeport committing eight new atrocities while walking to the bathroom. Which is to say, almost a certainty.

Let's see....she had just found Nathan when she made the cottage, and she had just checked on him to make sure he was safe when she went through the kitchen and bathrooms making things like hairbrushes and the fridge, so that means the type of ice cream most likely to be in the freezer is... Caramel fudge brownie. :P

Good to know.

There's not a lot I wouldn't give to see the charts and notes you use to calculate these things.:P

As promised, here is Timeport meeting Fantomah.

A little background: Fantomah is a Golden Age comic book character, predating Wonder Woman by about two years. Called "The Woman of the Jungle," she has incredible, almost godlike powers, which she uses to protect the jungle and its inhabitants from exploitation. She does it in some…er…interesting ways. Like making it rain panthers.

And she is about to meet Timeport.

To paraphrase the Monk theme song: There's a jungle out there, and it hates Timeport. :P:lol::D

Panthers in the very air we breath. ;)

Planning the next Lucentia post I fear we might step over the bounds of UST.

Anyway, given that we had a lot of newcomers here's what I think is the latest version of our timeline, no guarantee though.

2013 A.D.: Calamity appears in the night sky. 2013 was Steelheart's publication date, and thus was selected as the year Calamity first appeared.

2014: Roughly a year later, the first Epics begin to manifest powers. Most early Epics wear masks or otherwise attempt to conceal their identities.

2014: The recently married Jeff and Marigold Carlisle join a military research facility dedicated to studying Epics.

2014: Milton Towren discovers his illusionist abilities.

2014: Thomas Cardinal discovers his necromantic abilities.

2014: Rita Blue discovers her Epic powers.

2014: Dave Elwes comes to his powers

August 2015: Alexandra Hawkins discovers her space-warping abilities.

2015: Michael Jäger discovered his Epic powers, bolting from his home town shortly afterwards and taking his sister with him.

September 24th, 2015: Annexation Day. Steelheart seizes control of Chicago, Illinois with the Great Transference. Nightwielder plunges the city into perpetual gloom. Date chosen as the novel's publication date. If anyone knows the actual date in canon, don't hesitate to let me know.

2015: U.S. government passes the Capitulation Act, declaring all Epics exempt from the law. By this point other Epic despots are believed to have seized power.

2015: Three months after Michael's Epic awakening, the younger Jäger sibling awakens to her powers.

2015: The Epics SparkCloud and Hardwire wage war in Portland, Oregon, destroying the city's central power grid.

2015-2016: Altermind seizes a portion of Portland, founding the urban center of Thoughttown.

2015: Frank Ponte gains electric and flying powers and begins working with Altermind.

2015: Jonah Trumble leaves Newcago, taking the name Chicago Joe.

2016: With no evidence of Reckoner existence prior to the Capitulation Act, this is possibly the founding year of the Reckoners.

February 2016: Steve Lawrence discovers his past-seeing abilities.

Spring 2016: Pixie's Lantern is founded.

2016: The Capitulation act begins affecting the effective running of the Carlisle's lab. The researchers and military personell shift their base of operations to somewhere off the books to prevent reprisals.

2016: Cipher gains powers.

2016: Black Jaguar and Hawkwing gain powers.

Feburary 3rd 2017: Bloody Mary discovers her blood-controlling powers.

2017: The Trattner family comes to Portland. By this point CorpseMaker's gang has become a powerful force within the city.

2017: Scorch gains powers and works for Altermind.

2017: Metalmech is recruited by the Destructors(?)

2017: BusDriver begins treking around the country in his buses in search of a more permanent home.

2018: The Epic Möbius founds the city of Calamityville, situated in a pocket universe stolen from north California.

2019: Shortly after his eighteenth birthday, Nathan Sperry is contacted by casino recruiters; hired after first interview.

2020: Capture of the Energy Epic who will later destroy the Carlisle's laboratory.

2021: Emma Runes discovers her friction abilities.

2021: Marigold Carlisle manifests her powers.

Winter 2021: Koschei the Deathless begins his short-lived conquest of The Dalles, Oregon.

2022: BusDriver finds the Dalles, and begins to reside there.

Nighthound made his leave shortly afterwards, in the incident that also cost Lucentia her right arm.

Winter 2022: The Metal was released from his imprisonment and Deathgale joined Astoria.

March 2022: Remington Springfield moves to Portland.

2025: Death of Steelheart at the hands of David Charleston.

 Was that taken from Sightline's intro? Because in his second post he states that he got his powers in Bend, which is where those two had fought. I can move it to Portland if you want though.
