TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) Every time I imagine Angel and Timeport's eventual duel, I picture it set to Timeport went down to Portland, he was looking for a girl to kill He was getting bored with the big broadsword he'd found at an old windmill When he came across an Angel with her dog and cleaning her gun Timeport went toward that little girl and said, "Let's both have some fun." "I killed your brother, little girl, and I killed your parents too "And if you want to live to mourn them, I'll make a bet with you. "You've got a nice little rifle there, but I've got a battle-ax "Get on your feet, my Angel girl, and parry my attacks." Angel, grab your big ol' dog and make sure you load your gun 'Cause Timeport's here in Portland and he's telling you to run And if you win you'll avenge your family not long dead But if you lose then Timeport gets your head…. That is so appropriate on so many levels, it's scary.
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 That is so appropriate on so many levels, it's scary. In case you were wondering: Yes. My version also ends with Angel turning to a defeated Timeport and saying, "'Cause I told you once, you son of a gun, I'm the best that's ever been!" 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Before I change back into a pony, can I please go on the record as the Most Vile and Corrupted Enemy of the Church of Zero? You do remember that he's working for Lucentia and Bloody Mary, right? Are you calling yourself worse than them? So to get back on topic, is it possible to kill Nighthound with icecream? And if so, can someone organize for the Empire to all take a day off to go out for ice cream so that someone can discover this fact? Edit: On a completely random sidenote no matter how many times autocorrect changes it I keep typing Organize with an 's', even though it's one of the american spellings that I completely agree makes more sense. Realistically? Probably not. Unless they gather enough icecream that its sheer mass is enough to crush him.
Voidus Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Realistically? Probably not. Unless they gather enough icecream that its sheer mass is enough to crush him. Hey Kobold can I borrow Redlight to freeze someone while Captain IScream and co. generate enough desert to crush said, unnamed person? 3

This... this is so awesome I can find no words to describe it. Hey Kobold can I borrow Redlight to freeze someone while Captain IScream and co. generate enough desert to crush said, unnamed person? If it's for a worthy cause--and I rather suspect that it is--then be my guest. 4
Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 If it's for a worthy cause--and I rather suspect that it is--then be my guest. Now we still need to get Nighthound to the Dalles. For Gelatto Justice! 3
Kobold King he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Now we still need to get Nighthound to the Dalles. For Gelatto Justice! Justice is a dish best served cold--though there's an argument to be made for soft-served. 5

Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Yes, but revenge can easily be reheated in the Microwave of Evil! Revenge, the most worthless of deserts. Even with room-temperature it melts so quick that you can't feel satisfication, only the regret of added weight. 3
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 Back onto the topic of desert Epics. Lemon Candy Queen I'd suggest Lemony Snicket if it wasn't taken. 3
Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I'd suggest Lemony Snicket if it wasn't taken. I personally have an affection for Pancakepanic and Hazelnuthorror. 2
Voidus Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 I personally have an affection for Pancakepanic and Hazelnuthorror. I was going to go with Paincake but that works too 2
TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted February 12, 2015 Author Posted February 12, 2015 I personally have an affection for Pancakepanic and Hazelnuthorror. Can they be Lucentia's sworn enemies? 2
Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Can they be Lucentia's sworn enemies? Everyone can be Lucetia's sworn enemy, with the exception of the people that are just to vile. I was going to go with Paincake but that works too That's almost as cliche as the Candycrusher but I'll take it. 2
Voidus Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Also Sergeant Sorebet will be joining the team. 1
Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Also Sergeant Sorebet will be joining the team. Are these going to be actual characters? If so, I´m adding Strawberry Sundeath. 2

Edgedancer he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 (edited) She needs to lose to someone with a completely ridiculous name. Voidus, does the name Hingle McCringleberry speak to you? Well, even if they aren't as strong as the PC there are more Epics in Astoria than just the big four. So should Voidus want to palce any random Epics somewhere that are a bit to strong for the MEE there's a new playing field for him. I'm sure that now he'll find a place for HingMcCringe. Well I swore I'd make Captain IScream canon and I stand by that, and he'll need a team so yes, they will be. All of Oregon shall tremble before the Just Deserts! She needs to lose to someone with a completely ridiculous name. Voidus, does the name Hingle McCringleberry speak to you? Somehow yes it does Hingle McCringleberry: Primary: Orchidification- At any point Hingle McCringleberry can transform into an orchard of berry bushes covering a vast area, these bushes somehow all have sensory perception. Secondary: Something I will think of later Edit: Also now definitely goes by the nickname HingeMcCringe Edited February 12, 2015 by Voidus 2

Does anyone have any idea when was the last time we said anything in here that was actual planning? On that accord, everyone might want to start digging out the profiles for their Astoria Epics buried somewhere in the last couple questions. 3
Sirce Luckwielder he/him Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Astoria is coming out soon and it seems to have been planned well and will be awesome. Thanks goes to Edgerunner for his work. Many people have been planning Epics to place into Astoria. So we can start seeing what the Epics are like and start building alliances, I move that we start a small town. This town can be just a proving ground or it could be a long term event. I suggest a Bend if we want s big town or Tigard if we want a smaller one. There could be three gangs of Epics and/or vanillas. Each gang wants control over the city, but if they move against another gang then the third one will attack and win over both of them. Just think of it in the same context as the Siege of Luthadel. Each gang would have minor skirmishes to test out defenses and train themselves, striking and then leaving. Perhaps there is even a Reckoners cell stationed in the city that is trying to take out as many Epics as possible before being discovered. Here people could test out vanillas and give them experience. Doing a thread with a drawn out conflict will make it easy for people to come ans go as they wish. If the thread ever needed to be wrapped up it can do so easily by having an all out war between the gangs. Please let me or TwiLyghtSansSparkles know if you support this. I think that having a proving thread will be helpful and will help new Epics test out their powers and get a feeling for how the game works. 3
Voidus Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Just to get the final Ok on my two Astorian Epics, I changed Bioterror around a little so he can affect Epics but because Epic metabolism is weird anyway it's difficult for him to produce lethal effects and impossible to insta-kill them.Bioterror:Primary- Metabolic manipulation, can manipulate the metabolism of any organism at a cellular level, capable of causing near instant death or a myriad of other effects in his target, due to the alterations in the mitochondria of Epics his powers rarely have a lethal effect on Epics but may still produce unpleasant side effects. (Organ damage, disease, etc.) Secondary-Personal cellular manipulation, capable of completely manipulating all of his bodies cells. Passive: Temporal regression, a form of regeneration however injured he becomes the flesh and blood will quickly fly back to his body, reconstituting his body. Adventurer:Primary power: Toolazyfordooranimations- Capable of teleporting instantaneously to the other side of a barrier, uses this ability to never actually open doors for the most part, however can also teleport to the other side of a wall or use it on the ground and teleport into a nearby cavern. Secondary: Shaders- capable of creating either a point light source in his hand to act as a torch or creating an ambient lighting to light whatever room he's in.Tertiary: Minimap- geospatial awareness and radar capabilities.Passive: Reload!Reload!- Resurrection capabilities. 1
