Here’s how this works. Put two votes on the questions for the Presidential Ticket and one vote on the World Dicator question. (Sorry, non-Americans! You can still vote!)

Please discuss your suggestions below!

I will edit this as I come up with more stuff. I just wanted to get this out before someone else had the same idea. (ninja face) If anyone has suggestions for more pros, cons, or candidates, please PM me.

Notes: I didn’t put Brandon in, as he would obviously win.

Chaos

Description: Chaos, the mighty Theorymaster.

Pros:

Wields the Banhammer.

Is all-powerful, the Lord Ruler of the Forums.

Would improve political theory during his despotic term(s).

Despotic Executive Experience

Cons:

Chaos would rule.

Kobold King

Description: The King of the Kobolds.

Pros:

Has had extensive executive experience as King of the Kobolds.

Would drastically improve America’s reputation in a very short period of time.

“Only under my benevolent leadership will we find out what the higher reputation levels are!”—Kobold King

Cons:

Would likely spend most of his time in office making ponies of all world leaders. He would change the ponies slightly after each interaction with them and then post the codes to the official White House web site.

Would offend some nations by constantly making cheap jokes.

TwilyghtSansSparkles

Description: Twilyght, but without the Sparkles.

Pros:

“If elected, I will trust the people to do what is right for one another and themselves. Except on Whimsical Tuesday, when anything can happen.”—TwilyghtSansSparkles

She might convince Putin to wear a glittering disco costume.

Cons:

Is so nice that other world leaders would trample all over her.

“If elected, I will trust the people to do what is right for one another and themselves. Except on Whimsical Tuesday, when anything can happen.”—TwilyghtSansSparkles

Little to no executive experience.

No sparkles.

Apparently supported the Seahawks in the Super Bowl.

Peter Ahlstrom

Description: Brandon’s Assistant

Pros:

Knows everything.

Has an inside track to Brandon. Could possibly use him to write engaging and magical policy initiatives.

Knows everything.

Cons:

Little to no executive experience.

Queen Elsa Steelheart

Description: Queen of Newcago and its subsidiary courts.

Pros:

Extensive executive experience.

Makes excellent sculptures.

Cons:

Ice. Everywhere.

Voidus

Description: The First Denizen of the Dark Alley

Pros:

Cookies, enchiladas, soup, and, generally, baked goods for everyone!

Would have a war-ready slave army population in no time.

Some executive experiences.

Cons:

Would likely have a horrible human-rights record.

Snoopy

Description: Denizen of the Dark Alley, Founder and Head Brewer of the Root Beer Guild

Pros:

Makes excellent root beer (which he would give to immigrants for free).

Is awesome.

Free cookies for all, until they're sufficiently Spiked.!

Cons:

N/A

Hoid

Description: His true appearance is difficult to ascertain.

Pros:

A really charismatic guy.

Knows pretty much everything.

Would have engaging speeches.

Cons:

Little to no executive experience.

Would watch the world burn to get what he wants.

Might offend other world leaders.

Stick

Description: A stick

Pros:

It is a stick.

Cons:

It is a stick.

Skaa

Description: Just a normal Skaa.

Pros:

Would stand up to The Man.

Cons:

Just a normal Skaa

BreathTaker

Description: King of the Raven Throne

Pros:

“If I get elected President, I promise to make Sanderson mandatory reading through schools.”—BreathTaker

Extensive executive experience

Excellent decision-making skills ("I would buy a monkey and give it Gin before making any executive decisions."--Breathtaker)

Cons:

Would take your breath away.

I think making Brandon president would be a terrible idea. I mean, we might have really interesting legislation passed and a fantastic plot to the budget, but the Cosmere would never get finished. If Lightsong had been an option, I would have voted for him for president. Peter would make a good foil to his charismatic shenanigans.

I'll come up with some pros and cons for Lightsong. PM me with any ideas.

Talking about pro and cons, you said something I have to disagree with concerning Peter

Knows everything.

He did not know what

(Firefight)

Regalia´s weakness was

after Brandon PAFO'ed the question.

Well obviously she doesn't have a weakness, then.

Angry men named David bearing bladed weapons, duh. :P

Firefight:

That's a curiously specific fear. Specific enough to lend credence to Obliteration's belief that Epics fear that which will someday kill them.:P

Naturally, the weakness all Epics have in common. Dying! It seems so obvious now. :P

Spoilers for both Reckoners books:

It makes sense! We've never seen an Epic killed in any other way besides dying!

When Steelheart was killed, he died!

When Newton was killed, she died!

When Nightwielder was killed, he died!

When Regalia was killed, she died!

When Sourcefield was killed, she died!

With all these connections, it seems clear that any time an Epic is killed, that Epic dies. Therefore, the key to permanently taking the life of any Epic is to kill them. I bet we'll see this concept explored in greater detail in Calamity.

Of course! It all makes sense! All we have to do is kill them, which will make them face their fears! It's all so simple!

Wait...

Edit: Dang it Kobold! You managed to out-sarcasm me this time! it won't happen again though...

Kobold your logic has a flaw.

Firefight didn´t die after she was killed, so clearly to cause an Epic to die simply killing them isn´t always enough. You have to incinerate them!

Where's the voting option for Lightsongs gin monkey?

I feel like the running team of Hoid for President, Lightsong for Vice President, and the small monkey being fed large amounts of Gin Lightsong talks about in Warbreaker for World Dictator, is one I can really get behind and would take my issues to heart.

If a drunk monkey cant run a good government then who can?
