(seriously, I can't believe I'm the first one to say this ) You know, I always felt like Preservation and Ruin should be Equilibrium. I suppose Harmony fits better as an "intent" but equilibrium seems like a better fit in my opinion.

Something says I'm going more towards the Intent of the combination than an actual name, but I definitely stand by "Majesty" as a name and Intent for Honor + Dominion. I always thought it was both a name and the intent. Kind of like how preservation was referred to and called Preservation in the kandra/Terris religion.

I think it is the name that Sazed gave himself, so I am inclined to believe it is his intent as I think he understands what that is. I feel that harmony as an intent means the balance between destruction and creation, he is always looking to do good, but he can't do it without doing something destructive also. I think that Devotion added to any other Shard would strengthen the Intent of that Shard, as Shards are devoted to their Intent. I do like this applying this we could think: Odium+Devotion=Resentment Honor+Devotion=Sacrifice Cultivation+Devotion=Nurture Ruin+Devotion=Destruction Endowment+Devotion=Blessing 1
taveren he/him Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) ruin + cultivation could be like getting rid of something to make something else better like fertilizer or getting rid of an old building to make a new one i think cycle would be to much since it is only part of a cycle odium and cultivation might be something like negative motivation. like a drill sergeant trying to turn you in to a soldier so he is mean and such. so maybe discipline or punishment Edited January 7, 2015 by taveren

It fits really well with the two shards you chose. Odium + Cultivation = Sadism (Going by the intent - You're looked after, but hated).
