I plead guilty of not knowing who Julian Smith is.

Probably a girl pug. A playful pug would run far too high a risk of annoying Lightwards or one of the other Epics there. A more cuddly pug would be content to have Sam carry her around all day.

Also, I accidentally upvoted your post while trying to quote it. That could have turned out way worse, eh? :P

As do I, though I know I've heard his name before.

A girl pug would be very happy if her human carried her around all day. And then Sam could give her a pink or purple ribbon, making the pug happy AND adorable. (One funny thing about pugs is that they don't like ridiculous-looking costumes, but they do like small tasteful accessories like scarves and ribbons. Whenever I give Bruno a new scarf or Mollie a new ribbon, they'll prance around showing it off to everyone. :D)

I will not object to how that turned out. :P

And it´s an ignorant headtrick.

And then Nighthound aproached claiming he likes dogs.

Those were Nighthound's last words, for Protector Pug decapitated him with her sharp little claws.

That is adorable. :D My cats would probably murder me in my sleep if I tried putting scarves or ribbons on them.

Yeah, our cat didn´t even let us put a collar on her.

Wow...just wow.

I come back after 1 day, and there are more than 100 posts waiting for me! Incredible!

I have to agree with mail-mi...the fact that the last Timeport post is his most upvoted one is rather disturbing. Like the post itself. Great job, mail-mi.

Where I live I hear the cries of the local coyote pack at least once a month--more often once a week. We haven't yet collared any of our cats, out of the fear that the collars would snag on one of Texas' abundant twisted bushes and give the coyotes an easy snack.

Besides which, we're remote enough so that cats being lost and found isn't a likely event. Also, at least one of them would probably rip your hand off if you tried. :P

There's a scene in the 2005(?) movie Marie Antoinette where she puts a diamond collar on her pug. The pug sits up straighter as she puts the collar on, then wags it's tail as the camera shifts away.

Even I've had a hard time keeping up. And my upvote quota has been thoroughly exhausted. :P

Oh. My. Gosh.  *overreaction*

Julian Smith was basically my entire first two years of high school.

Heh, pretty funny. Does it help when I say that Voidgaze can kill people with a glass of milk, not that she needs the glass?

Don't worry. He'll meet his match soon enough.

"Match"? I was hoping for something more along the lines of "a ridiculously one-sided curbstomp battle."

The much better question is, who can we find to curbstomp Nighthound?

So out of curiosity, should I expect any RP posts, before everyone had time to finish Firefight?

Probably not. We'll probably be frolicking on the spoiler board on a Sanderson-induced high before regaining enough consciousness to remember the RP. :P

Though I just want to be remembered on the record as the first Oregon RPer to have mentioned Regalia.

Oh well, just means more time to read. :P

Little game, I added 5 tropes to the wiki page, try guessing which.

My last Quota post only has 3, and Koschei's massacre has 5, so...I guess everyone has a limit? Maybe? :P

Edit: Firefight is in stores where I live! One day early! :D and I was afraid no one would be able to get it for me but here it is! :D

:D :D :D

I'm never going home. I live in the bookstore now.

I'm still campaigning for the first Portland post to pass ten upvotes and become a popular post. Because it just feels wrong that it hasn't yet.

I stare at the edit to your post, torn between congratulating you and gnashing my teeth in envy.

I am a bookstore dweller. Fortunately it's in a mall so there's a food court if I get hungry.

(I'll have to wait until Saturday to take it home, though. <_< Having it come out just before my birthday is both a blessing and a curse.)

Wait--you're not able to synthesize calories out of reading new Sanderson books? What kind of Sanderfan are you?   :P

I wonder who'll end up ponifying Regalia and Obliteration first. :P

I haven't tried. I like stir fry too much. :P

We might have to hold a contest of some sort. :P
