Seonid he/him Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 That sounds... absolutly awesome! Might have to take a look att it afterall. You'd be welcome over there, Edgedancer, either as a spectator or a participant. Also, I'm making a slight adjustment to the power set of one of The Dalles much spoken of but as yet unseen menaces, Ironmonger. He's now a gifter, for both his iron body and metal manipulation powers (but not the others). People he gifts to can't actually turn all the way into iron like he can, but they can turn their skin to iron, thick enough to stop handgun and assault rifle bullets. Does this sound like an acceptable modification?

Edgedancer he/him Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 (edited) A lot of it. And she'll wait until anyone gets back. Patience is key to the insane. Why did I guess you'd ask that? The Inquisitors are pretty bad dudes, but nothing equivalent to anything you're thinking of... I supposse that beyond the border of insanity virtue and sin become indistinguishable. Fate and Sandman might actually still be in the museum, otherwise there isn´t really anything speaking against an early return by Nighthound. Because of my unique sense of humor? Edgedancer he/him Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 An early return of Nighthound would be fine, maybe a good idea. I had a feeling you would ask it due to the name I mentioned in this post. I´ll get on that then. (I wonder why people pay you random visits, if you will see them just a couple of days later at christmas.) I have been looking at the characters in Edassa and the axe made me think of Omega Weapon. How´s that for a pony? 1
Kobold King he/him Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 RE: The Dalles. It's the first time somebody's hugged Backtrack in the entire RP, and he's too busy being terrified out of his wits to enjoy it. I don't really know much to say about his reaction other than "He squeaked in alarm and tried to make himself look smaller." 1

Sounds like a post that would get a lot of upvotes. On other news, if Dynasty Warriors 8 is to be belived (it probably isn´t ) Then I have a compelling case that Altermind is the descendant of the ancient chinese warlord Sima Yi. The guy was a highly capable strategist that planted the seeds for the Jin Kingdom, which would eventually rule china. His character design is almost over the top evil, evil laughter included and his catch phrase is reminding other people that they are imbeciles. With the game using the same character model for his youth and when he´s 72 there can also be made a case that he´s an illusionist. (Not that far fetched given that he already has some kind of gravity magic in the game.(as I said not the most historical accurate source.)) Edited December 21, 2014 by Edgedancer

Only vaguely related: I watched Mulan for the first time last night, and suddenly I can't stop thinking that Altermind's training regime involves him standing shirtless in Thoughttown singing "Make a Man Out of You." Voidus Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I will not allow Altermind to profane such an awesome song! 1
mail-mi he/him Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Ironmonger is at last revealed! 2 of 3 compilation posts done!
Kobold King he/him Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I will not allow Altermind to profane such an awesome song! I suppose we can give the song to Vondra then. Backtrack can take Mulan's place and be the wimpy guy in the training. Ironmonger is at last revealed! 2 of 3 compilation posts done! That... that was awful. Not the writing, the writing and storyline was awesome. But Ironmonger and Miner are going on the "And Then They Died" list for this.

Or if they do, it will only be to bury him under a mountain of steel.

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 22, 2014 Author Posted December 22, 2014 Dang. Between Koschei and Miner….. …as something other than collateral damage and blackmail material? Seriously! 2

TwiLyghtSansSparkles she/her Posted December 22, 2014 Author Posted December 22, 2014 I wish And Then They Died Revised and Updated Criteria: To be placed on this list, an Epic must exhibit not only callousness, but a longstanding commitment to atrocities. The Epic in Question must be not only consistently portrayed as ruthless, but as enjoying their ruthlessness. Said Epic must glory in things decent societies deem reprehensible, including (but by no means limited to): torture, murder, sexual harassment, psychological manipulation (including subjecting a family member to reprehensible acts in order to gain control of someone), stalking, etc. Epics on this list must have demonstrably crossed the Moral Event Horizon, preferably with an evil laugh and/or creepy remark as they plummeted into the abyss. Members: Oregon Chapter Nighthound Lightwards Electro CorpseMaker Lucentia Nighthound Koschei Quota Bloody Mary Neverthere Nighthound Blackwave Nighthound Miner Ironmonger Nighthound And there you have it. Miner, Ironmonger, you have been added to the list. One more child-centered atrocity, and I will be forced to create the "Won't Somebody Please Think of the Children?" list. Yes, it will be rather lonely with only the two of you and Koschei on it, but if one more child dies, it must be done. 2

Like many others I was concerned at the relative glossing-over of his crimes last time you made this list. 2

Like many others I was concerned at the relative glossing-over of his crimes last time you made this list. I was afraid of making the list too long. If I were to accurately represent his crimes on this list, it would be at least ten pages. Edited December 22, 2014 by TwiLyghtSansSparkles 1

Seonid he/him Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Oh...Ironmonger's got it coming. Death by flashy pink winged unicorn. Wait till you see the Ari/Ironmonger matchup. 1
Kobold King he/him Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I'm...I'm not sure if I should be proud or abhorred that I now have an Epic on that list Personally I feel both proud and lucky. Not only is my character universally considered despicable (the second mention after Nighthound, in fact), I'm also able to give him as many karmic deaths as I want. 1

Speaking of, do you remember back in Ye Olden Days of the first Question thread, when it was unanimously decided that one of Lightwards' in-game deaths must come after he bites into an exploding cupcake? That hypothetical death would now be frosted with an extra-thick layer of karma. 1

Bonus karma points if Mrs. Trattner bakes the cupcake and Funtimes "upgrades" it. 1
