Just wondering why it's still the LGBTQ+ flag, even though June is over?

I still wish we could go back to the old banner, not the non-june one, the original from way back when.

I liked that one a lot better.

Yeah it's a little bit of tradition, a little bit of laziness, and a little bit of us liking to trigger homophobes, you know?

Ooof. That ancient logo is terrible though.

What? That was my favorite.

Possibly just nostalgia talking, but I still loved it.

As an Aro non-homophobe can I please just add that some of us dislike the extra-long "season" because the site still does not have dark mode and that version of the logo is eye-searingly painful. . .

I feel like there's a lot more eye searing things there that are more impactful here but okay.

Note, I didn't ask to change it - and yes, there are many other bright elements. Also, the header is fairly easy to manage (just avoid scrolling up as much as possible).

My point was simply this - not every complaint about the colorful logo comes from a place of fear or hatred or "homophobia". Some of us just wish for less  eye-searing elements or a Dark mode that can mitigate them.

That part doesn’t rly bother me, I would however love a dark mode on this website idrk if that’s possible but I think it would be rly nice

its possible but been discussed and i think the outcome was it wouldnt rly work with new forum software versions, would have to be updated, and might be hard. i forget.

ive thought of trying to make a browser extension for it but tbh i dont have motivation and have like not much experience with darkmode stuff so it'd be spaghetti and probably hard and also yeha

True, but in my experience, that... is not very much the majority or usual. That might just be you, actually, as looking at this I think there's a lot more that's a lot brighter.

This isn't that category of thing, actually, but it does require time to do. It's low on my priority list of tasks at least. I should try and devote some time to this...
