imagine kinda quadruple posting but

the highlights:

 

it doesn't show up for all but ALL ARE INCREDIBLY SHINY

i know that doesn't necessarily mean there good "valuable" but OOOOOHH SHINY

i don't care about the value.

Trixie and Doctor Whooves even have some shiny star background detailing that doesn't show up.

And the pool ones are incredibly shiny in a way that looks like actual water. It just doesn't show up very good.

Watched MLP again a few years(3-4) with my sister and brother. I liked it at the time. It’s a great show. Agreed that the new stuff kinda is terrible.

Now I’m definitely a bit old for it, but it still makes me laugh

Nice to see that there’s a card game for that, but I’m way to invested in D&D and Magic to get into anything else(I doubt I’ll get into the Cosmere rpg, or the Mistborn card game or anything else like that)

@Jo and the Bush I'm not really into fanfic and only get into it by accident, but Doctor Whooves on deviant art was surprisingly good. I didn't get to far in, but I was expecting it to be kinda cringe. Ended up being sort of excellent

The fact that they made an actual character in the show be an homage. It was so wild and amazing

Yeah... Once I got out of the Netflix seasons I had to spend the longest time finding a kinda-trusted source. All the "FULL SERIES!" playlists I could find have bleached out color, so I go season by season.

What I've read is good! But then, I'm easily pleased.

 

Also, I just watched Equestria Girls for first time in years- and forst time since really joining the fandom- and, hot take: it wasn't as bad as people say.

 

(but then, i'm easily pleased. Bit i was going into it expecting it to be horrible, so...)

my expectations for equestria girls were on the ground, but I liked it too. most of those movies were fun. I just didn't love the HS girls angle (I'm pretty sure the pony versions are also all adults?), it felt very much like they were trying to be marketable. but at the end of the day, the writers were very good at making a great story regardless of setting
