like there are rules that just make sense.

Like this one time there was two separate factions and if one good showed up at one of the locations of these ... Altar thingies, one person would come back. If one bad and one good showed up at an altar, one person would die, and if one good and two bad showed up, the good would die. Anything more resulted in no one coming back but also no one dying.
