I guess ill have to tell you lmao

not well thought out

you are trying to get a string of numbers that fits inside bo.c.v.

Bo.c.v. will show you where to get the answer if you figure out what it means and what numbers fit where

I know step 2, but I can’t figure step 1!

Spoiler

38 32 42

is the closest I’ve gotten

as well as

8, 2, 11

How'd you get those numbers?

Spoiler

The first is distance from lowercase cyphertext to lowercase key in the alphabet

so a is 3 letters from x, etc, while G is 9 letters from Y, etc…

but I don’t think that’s it

I have something that’s 14 words

Spoiler

If you can make 20, 4, and 23 work, then success!!

or 20, 27, 19

or 39, 6, 14

Where are 47 and 56 from?

@Through The Living Grass

Is it

Spoiler

Where are 47 and 56 from?

The atomic numbers of Silver and Barium

Though it doesn't really work with the other two

I need to go to school now, so I'll continue this after.

Ive noticed there’s a tempo marker several measures in but not a starting tempo marker. Is this a change in tempo, and of so, what is the starting tempo? Also, is this relevant to the puzzle in any way?

The starting tempo is 100bpm (quarter note) if that helps. Tempo changes may or may not be relevant to the puzzle.

Transcribed this to flat.io and exported as an mp3 if anyone is curious

i think the first half is definitely nothing more than code, while the second half could be code as well but also could definitely be composition as it actually sounds like music

transcribing the notes into letters doesn’t immediately reveal anything.

notice how in the middle measures starting at measure seven, there are number sitting above some of the notes? I dont think that is part of normal sheet music.

i dont see what the tempo has to do with anything, if it starts at 100 then why does it change… to 100? Several measures in? This seems intentional, but i cant see why.

@Through The Living Ghost. You know music, does anything strike you about this puzzle?

Hmmm that’s a rly interesting tempo change it doubles the length of the music after it although I didn’t notice that in ur flat io score that seems important, *takes out violin and plays it*

The repeat and amount of accidentals at the end is also curious, not out of the ordinary but curious

Also that it doesn’t use the bass side of the piano until the very end is kinda weird

It does actually become a different tempo if you're really keen

Flat.io is interesting I'll take a look

Actually it goes the other way, since half notes are now 100 per minute so therefore it means that quarter notes are at 200 BPM

Which doesn't reflect well on the audio clip tho
