I hope this isn't already a topic, but I remember seeing Chaos's topic on only using the pronouns field for pronouns, not member-title-like stuff. So, what about other fields, like location? Do I need a real location/none at all, or can I put something that is obviously not correct. For example, I saw someone who had the location "Kepler 22b," which I find funny. I set mine to "Delta Quadrant," which is a Star Trek reference. Basically, I'm wondering if these examples are appropriate/acceptable.

Thanks,

As I see it:

Many people aren't comfortable sharing their location online and so many locations in those fields are either vague(like mine), fictional, or just jokes.

This isn't like the pronouns field because this is information that is generally private. Unlike pronouns, which actually matter a lot to general conversation.

Ah, thank you.

Yeah, we're more lax with the location, you can put something obviously not true there.
