by "repping" someone's post, aka hitting the heart-shaped button. the more this happens, the more rep you have. different levels of rep correspond with different little yellow titles (I forgord what they're called). also, I guarantee that @Hawks misspells more than you do.

Please don't worry about rep, it's not a competition. You're very new here, and thus it's natural for you to not have a ton of rep, and rep really doesn't matter that much xD
