Lesser spren Posted November 6, 2025 Posted November 6, 2025 I haven't seen many people talk about the cosmere phenomenon where a creature can not only control another creature's actions but also perceive through their senses as well. This seems to be different than the Nahel bond, but we have seen it for Kandra, Koloss, and to a certain extent Midnight Essence as well. I decided to coin the term Familiarism for it because it is similar to the mechanics for familiars in DND. Are there any examples I missed?

I posit the existence of the as-yet-unnamed Cognitve Realm Bond in this bond post. We see a cognitive/emotion bond in Mistborn (Vin and Koloss), Warbreaker (Nightblood), YNP (Nightmares), etc. There are many posts in that thread on the subject, the linked one is just the most organized and cited. Hope that helps
