thats a lot

like, a lot a lot

if you could give me a TLDR or smth thatd be great

aproved

Want any changes? Aproved

maybe you 2 could be friends  or smth? (ur both from scadrial)

I’ll go with my personal fave, Shockstarters

Spoiler

Shockstarter: They can shock people with lighting powers, though using them causes them to take some of the damage they deal after a few attacks, forcing them to be aware of how much they are using it. The damage keeps growing, and they begin to get stunned until they are nearly dead. They can rest and the damage slowly fades, unless they push too far, and they will retain some permanent damage that can only be healed by a Brightbringer. Eventually, the threshold for the damage being permanent heightens as experienced Shockstarters build up resistance to the damage, even from other Shockstarters.

They are able to do this through manipulation of electrons, essentially creating a massive static electric shock.

They can generate a massive amount of electromagnetism, far more than should be possible, drawing in targets to a supercharged area (like 30 million amps +), and zapping them. This pulls in armor, weapons, projectiles

Basically zappy zappy

And with super crazy electromagnetism I can pull metal into the zappy stuff

Silly things :P

I'm going to use FCRRP Magic, but give me a minute to decide which one...

EDIT:

Name: I don't have anymore BftS clones, so... Kreen

Magic System: Worldweaving (Water+Earth)

Home Planet: FCRRP Scadrial

@CoderDrag0n8

Accepted. Remember, NO CROSSOVERS

Uhhh you also need to give a name and a home planet. I am still not entirely sure if this should be allowed. Everyone else, what do yall think?

i think it’s fine enough. will need that tweaking to become more cosmere-aligned, as noted, i think.

The magic is called Shockstarting

And the users are Shockstarters

Planet is Renov. The inhabitants are humans. For the purpose of this game they all are. The book is more diverse but I don’t wanna type that all out

No like, your character’s name?

I assume you want all the magics and not just one of them to be canon?

Posted

@CoderDrag0n8, can we add the magic system from the Lightbringer series?

It fits very nicely

It's called chromaturgy and its practitioners are called drafters

It works by turning light into a solid called luxin, which has different properties based on which colour you draft

You can be a monochrome (draft one colour), bichrome (two colours), polychrome (more than 2), full-spectrum polychrome (draft all colours), or a Prism (draft all colours and be able to split white light into the constituent colours)

I mean I wouldn’t mind but if it’s too much I wouldn’t be offended

Uh

I’ll go with Kavos

First, ya gotta settle on a power source. Investiture is needed for stuff. If I were to stick as closely as possible to the original, always available aspect of the Shockstarter’s abilities (at least, that’s how I read it), I would say that the Shockstarter has some form of permanent access to the Spiritual Realm, purely as a source for fuel.

In a way, the Shockstarter’s soul would act as an lightbulb plugged into the Spiritual Realm. Able to pull out power to perform lightning stuff at a whim. The damage can be translated as the draw damaging the spirit in a way potentially similar to Savantism, in its permanent warping of the soul. The slow, long-term healing would also be explained by this very small, constant draw of Investiture from the Spiritual Realm. Active use is too much for the soul to handle, but passive is not.

You could edit the specifics of the lightning/electromagnetic effects, too, but I don’t think it’s strictly necessary.

Someone's gotta compress this into a single spoiler box for me.

Which magic system to use..... I've made so many.

Sin Crowns are out. They're a king without their kingdom.
The Gifts have the same issue, cool, but their power source is god knows where.
Idealization, while cool and makes good weapons, is too slow. Though it's very varied with what it can do... perhaps.
War Singing hasn't been writen, and I don't feel like it.
Should I be one of the Custom Radiants? Cloudskimmers?
Thoughts?

what

I still need to make five  more for FCCRP lol. Warsinging, Aetherbound, Devotion's magic system, and 2 yet unknown.

Spoiler

Invested art: Idealization. When one captures the Seeker sand and melts it, it loses its most… violent properties and hardens into a plastic glass that glows like an ember. It's slightly pliable, and dents rather than chip or shatter. In this state, the Malphium-Silcate, called Glass by the local, isn't all that useful. However, when re-exposed to the winds, in a process called Windtempering, the light brightens, and the glass becomes extremely pliable to the touch, almost like clay, but seems to not droop or shift without direct action from a sapient.

This, of course, makes an extremely good artistic medium, being easily moldable. There is, however, another step to its final use. When taken inside a Cradle, the Glass undergoes a process called Idealization, or Hallowtempering. When Idealized, the Magenta glow shifts to a bright white, hardens completely and gains a variety of invested properties, depending on what the Glass is shaped like and the level of artistic skill used in its creation. The Glass is nearly unbreakable in this state, only chipping when another Glass object is used with the intent to destroy, or the sand makes contact, which leaves tiny scrapes.

Some objects gain a rudimentary mind, being more advanced in organics, like animals or people, rather than items like swords or otherwise. The better the artist is, the stronger the invested item, and the greater the mind. Its sort of aligning itself with the platonic ideal for what an item of that sort should be.

Here are some objects and example powers

Animal Statue
The animal comes to life, gaining supernatural strength and whatever properties an animal of that sort would have. (Eagle vision, rabbits being fast, ect)
Sword
Unbreakable even for Idealized Glass, supernaturally sharp and light.
Set of wings.
Almost weightless, granting the ability of flight to everyone who wears them.
Pot
Filling up with anything someone who holds it wants.
