Kasha’s finger stopped rubbing the trigger, then she gave a quiet curse. Her eyebrows knitted together as she studied the man, cheek twitching ever so slightly. After a few moments, she threw her hands up, finally lowering her gun, but now beginning to pace.

”Dammit,” she swore softly, pausing to glare at Nikolas before returning to her pace. “Absolute freezn’ idiot. If they’re mad at you…”

Kasha stopped and took a swig of her drink from the counter, her cheek still twitching. “If they’re mad at you,” she continued, “and we are a by product of them… freezn’ dammit.”

They did the job, were kinda left on their own in the tavern. After a bit, two gunshots were heard and Nikolas exited saying that the Masks would be mad at him, and they need to get away from the body
