Hello hello!

Hey everyone, 

I'm Vatsug and fairly new to the Cosmere. Although I've binge read the Stormlight Archive since about the beginning of this year, and am currently in the process of reading Wind and Truth. I look forward to also diving deeper into the Cosmere in the future!

As a bit of a lore nerd for whatever universe I'm into I just had to sign up for this forum. 

Other than this, I enjoy video games, TTRPGs, chilling with friends, music, and cooking.

I do like DnD but haven't played it in a long while. 

Since I've only read Stormlight, I can only draw from those characters but I'd say Hoid, Adolin, and Jasnah are some of my fave characters.

Adolin is just a nice guy, and I can see why one would invite Shallan and Syl, and Rock's always nice to cook your food. Kaladin too, is pretty cool.

Hoid... would, I think, arrive late, disappear half-way through an insult everyone while he's there, so...

But I do feel like most of these characters are used to Hoid enough that they'd be mostly resistant.

Also, I'm surprised that you call him Hoid. I'd've expected someone who's only read Stormlight to call him Wit, as he only mentions the name 'Hoid' once I believe.

Hoid is perhaps not the *ideal* party guest, but I think he might actually be quite a lot of fun if he wanted to (which is a fairly big caveat I guess). But I think he's one of the most interesting characters in the series, so given the opportunity I'd have to invite him. It's worth some insults. 

Also, in WoK he gives his name as Hoid twice (to Dalinar and then to Kaladin), and I think that's a cooler name than Wit so I just went with that. Not sure if he mentions it somewhere else, but definitely twice in the first book. 

Edit: Or technically he doesn't give Hoid as his name, but says that they may call him Hoid. 

An alternative to Hoid could be Sigzil. I think he'd be fascinating to talk to, and a good party need a mix of people.

Nice, Windrunners are cool. Although I will say that my two highest scoring were Elsecaller and Bondsmith 

I like almost all kinds of music, but most of my day to day listens are some kind of rock or metal. Bruce Springsteen and Nick Cave are two personal musical heroes. 

And I probably have several weird traits but might not be the best person to figure out what they are lol. I (usually) eat sandwiches so that there the center piece is left for last, instead of eating end to end. I guess that might be a bit weird?

Thats ok, Elsecallers are pretty cool. 

Oh we have almost the exact same taste in music lol. I like pop and alternative, but I have been listening to some metal-adjacent music lately. I also really like Irish Folk, and most songs written based off books. (e.g, Lilith Max and The Bookish Songs Collective) 

Bahhahaha I do that too sometimes!!! 

My weirdest trait is probably either being obbsessed on hitting things with sticks (Thank you, Kaladin.) or spouting COMPLETLY random information that's seemingly useless. 

I call it my Smedry Talent lol.
