so after practice today when we were putting our instruments away i was talking to one of my friends and she said "sometimes i forget that french horns exist." and i said "yeah i think most people do." and then my other friend (who plays the french horn) said "yeah even I forget we exist." I think I died for the tenth time today after he said that.

My trumpet section had a rain turtle a few years back. People would draw it in the dirt and hope it brought rain so we'd have to do a music block inside instead of being out on the field. But we were trying to phase it out this season so I started drawing sun snails.

No not yet funliner productions did like an inside scoop and he told us it’s very different from the usual post Covid crown. Their show last year was point of no return it was the weird one where the lady just walked around around and didn’t do any thing

I’m also excited to see phantoms bc I loved they’re show last year

Phantoms was cool. I’m definitely excited to see that one. And I’m excited for Vanguard, I usually like their shows. I’m hoping I’m able to actually watch a few before finals but ig we’ll see, idrk how it works

me too usually you’ll be able to find recording pretty soon once they start touring with their full show, I’m sad bc last year I was able to see both phantom and crown live but this year I’ll be out of town

Yeah I should be able to find recordings

The thing is just that I’m marching so I’m hoping I’ll be able to see some shows live bc vets have told me sometimes we get to see the corps that perform after us.

i wanted to see if there was anyone else here that’s marching or even just interested in it bc I like talking about dci it’s such a cool thing and so many people don’t know anything about it
