Hey people!
I've been reading Sanderson since October last year, but I haven't gotten too far in reading as I just started University (A bit hectic right now), so I've only finished the first 3 Stormlight books. I know a lot of spoilers from the others though as I like reading the Coppermind, haha. Every Cosmere novel is on my reading list as of the moment--not sure when I'll get them done--but I'm loving Sanderson so far. I'm fascinated with the worldbuilding and lore, I aspire to be a writer capable of such excellent storytelling as he is.

I joined this as I have been lurking for sometime and want to partake on occasion.

Not sure what more to say, but I look forward to chatting with all of you!

I do indeed like dragons. I'm not sure of my opinion on Wayne yet, as I haven't read Mistborn, but he has an impeccable sense of style.  I like E-books and Webnovels but find reading on a screen a bit annoying for my eyes, so I mostly stick to paper. :)

Ha! I'm on your antipode!

As a lore lover, what's your favorite Cosmere culture you've read about stylewise?

Welcome to the Shard!
Who's your least favorite character in Stormlight so far?
What's your favorite Non-Sanderson book you've read?

A New Zealander :)

I'm Australian.

Anyway, welcome again!

If you could invite any 6 Sanderson characters to a party, who would you invite?

Well, g'day there cousin :)

Oh that's an easy one, once I read more of the Cosmere this might change, but I'd invite: Wit, Renarin, Jack Derrins, Ishikk, Shallan, and Kaladin.

Honorable mentions: Adolin and Syl

(I don't know how I could have forgotten to mention I'd read Long Chills and Case Dough, though it isn't Cosmere related afaik)

Ha, that's cool, I'd never heard of an antipode till now. Thanks for the fun spot of learning for me today haha. :)

Oh man, it's gotta be the Purelakers, such a cool lifestyle living on that lake. I loved Ishikk's interlude and he instantly became one of my favourite characters (if not completely irrelevant and not mentioned again...)

either that or the Reshi they have a cool style also, moving islands and such.

Least favourite might turn a few heads, but Lift (I haven't read Edgedancer yet, so that might change) but as of the moment I find her quite immersion breaking with her "awesomeness."

My favourite book of all time is Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams

Thank you! Hello,

Yes, I suspected it would haha, I think my opinion might change, but I know if it were another series, she would be one of my top favourites, its just I think she doesn't fit in Stormlight. Jar Jar Binks is very respectable though haha

Yes, I'll make sure to try that out :)

I don't currently play one, I used to do Guitar when I was quite young, might look into taking it up again. But I'd love to play the Lute one day, that'd be cool

The first (I think) to invite a non-cosmere character! Ishikk is also a first, I believe we only see him once or twice. Wit is pretty common but, at least in my opinion, a bad choice. He would arrive late, leave early and insult everyone while he's there. I think you are also the first to invite Renarin.

Kaladin is quite popular though. Shallan is... average.

Haha, well I'm glad in atleast somewhat original :) Ishikk was only in it for a bit but made a big impression on me, and Renarin is definitely one of my top favourite characters of all time. Wit also, I think the insults will be very entertaining and make for a very different table discussion, haha.

Glad to have you here! Sanderson is definitely one of the best in my book. In fact, I am a S.I.M.P, and I would go as far to say that a lot of other people here are S.I.M.Ps too!
