Also, after Dominion arrived on Roshar, Surgebinding became a thing, but it works differently to canon Roshar

How long ago was the shattering? I was assuming long enough that I was second or third generation since the Shattering.

Yep, there is. Right now you can be Devotion or Endowment, though Reason may open up soon.

Devotion has settled a gas giant moon in the Iairan System (not a canon cosmere system) with Ruin

Endowment is on Threnody, and Preservation is in the same system

Reason... has done basically nothing the entire RP

I'm happy to be any Shard that needs someone to play them; would it be more useful to play Devotion/Endowment to continue an existing arc, or Reason to start something new?

As someone whose played both of them, they both have like primary goals in mind. Devotion has a primary goal to keep ruin in check, endowment just wants to be left alone.

Anyone can also play as a seed if they'd like.

But I guess Reason would be more useful, since he's done nothing so far except chat to Dominion
