The arrow meets its target, burying itself in the serpent's head, and the beast shrieks, rearing its head back. It's eyes flash back to red, and similar red lights begin to flash all throughout the darkness in the pool. They begin to take form, rising out of the water, and float towards Alfonce at an alarming speed.

Just as Encocs reaches the place where the Beyonder was, the man in white seems to suddenly teleport away, appearing a few feet to the side.

You’ll have to do better than that.

A swarm of the serpents descends on Enocs, tackling him to the ground. As he is pushed down underwater, he sees the reflection of the Beyonder, refracted through the water, chuckle.

The voice whispers in your head as you open your eyes, finding yourself in the midst of... nothingness. You seem to float in a void, your body standing on some invisible surface in a sea of ebon. Despite the apparent darkness, you can see clearly as if brightly lit, and you find yourself part of a wide circle with thirteen other beings. Humans, dragons, others. 

You have a keen memory of wherever you were an instant ago. What you were in the middle of doing. The transition, however, doesn’t feel rough. It is oddly peaceful, and you find yourself full of energy in this unusual plane. 

I have brought you here for a reason. Over millennia, even I tire. I grow. And I want more. You... YOU have gained the honor of performing for my throne. 

As you hear these words, a bright light suddenly appears in a pillar in the center of the circle of beings, revealing... a man. He wears impossibly white robes covering every inch of his skin, and his arms are spread wide as he descends the pillar of light. The cloth of his clothing flows in a nonexistent breeze, and his face is covered by a simple, featureless white mask. Yet his gaze seems trained on you and only you. 

Over the course of these trials, you must prove yourselves. The final champion left standing will receive the greatest gift in the multiverse. The others... will fall.

Of course, such a contest cannot be held in just any arena. I have spent eons, time greater than much of your comprehension, studying the lands you call home. Lands that are, in their own way, arenas. And for eons, I have designed, worked, crafted my own land to perfection. Full of layers, planes, and illusion, this is my arena. This is my Battleworld.

The Beyonder finally touches down on the earth. The pillar of light fades, and suddenly, you become aware of a change in your environment. Or maybe it was there all along. Regardless, the ground you stand upon is now covered by roughly a foot of water or a similar liquid. 

For your first instruction, you must listen carefully, for I will never repeat myself. To pass this first test, you must touch my clothing.

You look around, and no one moves. The Beyonder raises his arms even higher, and the world seems to tremble on the edge of a precipice. Then he lowers them, and the voice blasts in your mind.

Abilities: SCONES! This is Enocs. He is a Sconcebender. (Like from Atla). When he eats a scone, he gets more powerful. If he eats enough scones (And I mean, A LOT of scones. Like, more scones than have ever existed), he becomes a god. However, this requires a constant stream of scones. He can also use Hemsconelurgy. If he spikes someone with a scone and kills them, and then eats the scone, he gets their powers. Permanently. He can also do other scone shenanigans. Like, powering allomancy or feruchemy or Radiantness with scone power instead of investiture (note: he does have these. He can power any magic system with scones. However, the more powerful the magic system is, the more scones are needed).

RP: The Battle For The Sandwich. I know this wasn't technically an RP, but at some point I was mathematically Radiant.

Species: (ex: Human, Dragon, other) Human

Abilities: Mathematically Radiant (Quantum Tunneling, Realm Manipulation, Thermodynamics Manipulation, ability to generate and use Mathslight). Also had Fullborn Compounding, but if that's too much then we can just say I have no metal. Back then, I didn't have the sentient chull I do now.

Quick backstory: The people on the Battle for the Sandwich didn't like maths so they removed it. I (Sanadanas), strived to return maths to the Sandwichverse. Once I succeeded, I brought back maths and created mathspren, one of which I bonded. Later, I traded my radiance away for a kandra which was stolen form me, but let's pretend that never happened. Here, anyway.

Anything else I should know: I basically have the Surge of Transportation times 1000, along with overpowered Brass Feruchemy. I'm basically inter-dimensional Obliteration from Reckoners. Also, in Battle for the Sandwich cannon, the Mindscape and Dreamscape are there in addition to Physical, Cognitive and Spiritual Realms. I'm pretty sure the Mindscape was deleted along with maths, but the Dreamscape exists and you go there if you don't bold your text.

Quick backstory: a random carpenter with some mild trauma from a ship fire, Cole was contacted by not one but two disembodied voices, warping his outlook and granting him magic powers.

Anything else I should know: Erratic does not begin to describe him, but he’ll follow the orders of any disembodied voice that can prove it’s real.

  • teleportation (this is done in two ways - either directly changing where something is or making a portal. Either method requires an anchor device on the other side. Rebus can also seem to teleport by disassembling his body/the object and putting it back together at the destination) 
  • ansible (faster-than-light communication, lags if it would break causality. Probably involves the teleportation methods, though I haven't canonized that) 
  • reaction-less drives (used for little drone-thingies, spaceships, artificial gravity, and railguns, this is basically a tractor beam, though it's not small enough to be used by the nanomachines) 
  • holograms (although not real holograms, utility fog can precisely emit (and block) light and sound, making false images and sounds) 

Quick backstory: Puzzle is a gender-flipped version of Rebus he sent out to evade the rules about not leaving TLT. She doesn't have many experiences other than his memories, and in fact even those are incomplete, ending just before the 4000 page party.

So from what I remember, the valley was the domain of "The Old King" an ancient fae lord, who ruled the valley for a long time. The fae have a kind of pocket realm that overlaps with the real world, that's where they all where. Then, his son got upitiy, and decided he wanted to be king. Unfortunately, the king was too strong for him to defeat on his own. So the son bargained with the stars, which are the eyes of the "gardeners" looking in (think like Cuthulu, also the owners of the universe). They gave him power but also corrupted him. This is who Autumn (The rockstar) met, and who sowed her mouth up. Since he was then king, his corruption cursed the forest, leading to a whole mess of issues, including, but not limited to, the partial fusing of the real and fae realms, madness, removing some people from existence, and picking up a relic pocket dimension from back when the universe was almost destroyed (that funky mansion). The shadow king, as the son was called, then banished his dad, and drove him mad from longing for the forest. Can you guess who he was (If not I'll just tell you)

The green lord Who spoke like this was kinda like a general, and the more "alien" part of nature. He was fun. Bellow is also the full map. I don't really remember what most of the stuff was, but I think I wanted you all to lure the Shadow king to a big lodestone, bring the old king, and let him reclaim his mantle.

Abilities: Standard IceWing stuff: frost breath, flight, strength as well as an animus enchanted sword that’s unbreakable, unnaturally sharp, and telepathically controlled (like Alucard’s sword from Castlevania). NOT AN ANIMUS HIMSELF

Quick Backstory: Traveled across Pyrhia and Pantala cataloguing different dragon’s stories as well as their myths and legends. Gifted the animus sword for defending a village from invasion

Just as Encocs reaches the place where the Beyonder was, the man in white seems to suddenly teleport away, appearing a few feet to the side.

You’ll have to do better than that.

A swarm of the serpents descends on Enocs, tackling him to the ground. As he is pushed down underwater, he sees the reflection of the Beyonder, refracted through the water, chuckle.

That leaves the Beyonder silent for a second. Cole gets the odd sense that the being is… considering.

Huh.

For the first time since his arrival, the Beyonder visibly moves. He stretches his arm out, towards Cole. And Cole vanishes.

To everyone watching, at least.

Cole blinks, and finds himself in a new environment. A new location. He wears different clothes; a familiar grey, tattered outfit, stained with paint and torn by wood chips. Sweat streams down his face. A feeling of heat surrounds him. He knows this place. And he begins to fear.

For he is back in the ship fire.

Her mouth slightly dropped and she reached for her knife.
