The serpents circle her warily, then begin to strike one by one, aiming for her face.

As soon as he ran, the darkness in the water convulsed, and more serpents grew out of it to attack him. They lunge at him, red eyes flaring, aiming to bring him down.

Several things happened all at once, or rather, in a short span of time.

First, Alfonce began to run. He dashed straight towards the force of serpents, hoping to brute his way past them and get to the Beyonder.

Second, the serpents lunged, rising out of the water yet remaining connected to it, and move to tackle Alfonce.

And finally...

Taurian grabs Alfonce's arm just as the serpents hit, and the entire group is tossed into the swirling water. They twist and turn, slamming into the bottom of the pool and continuing to be pressed down. Every now and then, they are able to get their heads above water, but then the beasts attack with renewed vigor, and they go back under. As consciousness begins to fade, the pair sees an odd reflection of the Beyonder, fractured through the water, seemingly chuckling.

Taurian tries to walk over. In his current state, he's more flailing around, fighting off the serpents trying to keep him under.

As soon as the beings lifted off into the air, the water began to churn and wave, disturbed by the movements. The darkness grew. But it was not the beings' motion that made it strike.

It was the shedding of blood.

As soon as blood (or any other bodily fluid, for that matter) was shed, the water in the pool suddenly began to revolve into a sort of whirlpool around the Beyonder, sucking things inward. Serpents rose up in all locations. And the water itself began to glow red.

All beings remaining in the pool heard a voice in their heads.

Hurry, feisty ones. You have angered It.

With their careful pace, they all make it to their target just as the water begins to spin. As each one arrives, in turn, the Beyonder teleports slightly to the side and raises his arm, seemingly vanishing them.

Like Cole, they each awake in their worst nightmares.

They are all safe for now. The beings remaining in the pool, on the other hand...

They're time is running out.

And one of them is not going to make it.

Sanadanas saw everything happen again.

He watched as the others, desperate to get their hands on the Sandwich, destroyed maths, and with it, the Mindscape. The Mindscape was the one thing he'd never been able to recover. But not this time.

Sanadanas summoned Mathslight, pulling directly from the Mindscape. He had never been able to get this much before, as by the time he became Radiant the Mindscape was already gone. He swallowed some vials of Allomantic metals and burned steel.

It was well known to scholars that using multiple forms of Investiture mixed together create something new, a Resonance. With the number of powers he has, it would've cancelled out, but the Mindscape brought separation, clarity. He burned steel not to push metal, but to push Realms.

I'm probably going to call him Sandy in the future. I also forgot who destroyed maths and I don't have the energy to look though 100 pages so I didn't give a name.

Silvrye then looked to the scene in the ocean. Should she try to help? Maybe make some potential allies? But they she saw it, Blizzy and the bone drago thingy, and decided the only right thing to do was to help them. She flew over and latched firmly onto the Bone Drago's skeleton. "Get out of here!" She screeched to Blizzy (@SpartanBrigade) while flying Bone Drago to shore. Her kind was known for strength, after all. @THE DEMON

The water continues to spin faster and faster, and all beings struggle to remain standing. And then, suddenly, it seems as though the walls of this dimension begin to shift. The ground, previously flat, begins to curve up around the Beyonder, setting him at the bottom of an ever-steepening pool. While the water seems to ignore this gravitational change, everything else - serpents, contestants - begins to be drawn towards the crux of this depression.

The surface beneath the water is now glowing a deep red, and more and more beasts spawn.

"Probably." Enocs said, responding to his thoughts

Enocs becomes Scone-Plasma, a highly volatile substance that reacts with water. This plasma is created along the back of his body, as he transmutates the serpents touching him into Scone-Plasma too. This propells him towards the beyonder at high speeds, maintaining a layer of scone mutation around himself to change any object that comes in contact with him into scone substance.

The Beyonder stretches out his hand towards Enocs just before he arrives. Enocs freezes, against his will, inches from coming into contact with the Beyonder's glove. He struggles, trying to propel himself further, but is held back by an unseen force, seemingly frozen in time. The Beyonder's hand begins to tremble, and he looks down at it, seemingly in awe. Then he meets Enocs's gaze.

Stronger than I thought.

He waves his hand, and Enocs vanishes into a nightmare, just like the others.

And watches it stripped away from her.

She opens her eyes in a familiar place; the training grounds. The courtyards she knows so well. The grounds she traced in another day, another life, following others. Always following. Never in control.

For a while, she stumbles, dazed. Unable to believe this is real. Wasn't she just in that pool, with the others? Where has she gone? Was she rejected? A voice snaps her out of it. She turns to see her old master; he storms up to her, a grimace on his face, a growl rising in his throat. He screams at her.

"What are you doing, girl!? Kill him!"

She turns, and suddenly, He is there. The one she loved. A tear streams down her face. He looks up at her, his eyes gleaming with betrayal. Him... she can't hurt him.

"Girl!"

The voice of her master returns, but she remains frozen. Unsure of what to do. This cannot be real. But it feels real.

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok time to make a backstory (yeah i dont have one yet)

ummmmmmmmmmmmm

oH!

ok ok ok ok so, Enocs and Eikooc are materializers. Materializers exist because of the materialization war, where societies learned how to weaponize ideas of objects. However, these weaponized ideas became sentient. Enocs was one of the Dark Side materializers. This means he underwent heavy torture and had to see almost all of his brethren die. only he and Eikooc made it out alive. they have beried their memories deep within, and now serve the Great Corrupter.

His greatest fear is the Dark Side. The Great Corrupter has promised to protect him, and has gifted him with an abnormal amount of power (even for a materializer), but he still fears the ever encompassing sorrow that is brung about by the Dark Side. They have ways to keep the materializers away from their Deep Material.

Am I allowed to make the nightmare myself?
