They sink to try to get a better view of the holes

As they squat, a clear liquid started to pile in from the holes. Water. The tank was filling.

Just now, Wyver said:

She tried flapping her new wings. Though she could shapeshift, she didn't get the innate knowledge of flight. She eventually, after maybe 10 minutes of practicing, found out that there was a way. She found out how use the little AC unit in the wall as a breeze to glide upon, and to angle her wings in such a way that she flew. "Good enough?" She squawked.

“For now.”

The Scientist did not answer her question and placed a small bird in a cage on a counter.

“X-778. Memory trial: failure.” She spoke into a voice recorder.

Jeff sighed, looking at the keyhole. He had heard what they were trying to do to them. He pushes his finger as far into the keyhole, then shrinks down to half the size of said keyhole, pushing into it. He walks around inside, pushing on pins until he hears a click. He then walks out of the lock and back into the room, pushing the door open.

A scientist nodded.

She attempts to unchange- now focusing on her normal self. And before she knew it, she was her full normal self standing on a bed. She layed back down, prepared for whatever wierd animals they might place in front of her next.

“Consistency? It’s been very consistent, with the sheer amount of times you’ve tried to kill me you’d think it’s enough.”

They brought in a platypus.

"Now faster." The scientist flicked the penny over the partition and it landed on the far side.

@THE DEMON

"X-249, stand."

Will E. had just been beat practically to a pulp by several security guards as part of this study. Ever since they'd taken him they'd been giving him surgeries and drugs, trying to increase his resistance to pain. He was full of pain. However, he was able to stand.

@IcedOutPenguin

The drugs began to wear off. Ytis awoke from his surgery, and there were now five gills on each side of thier neck. Some kind of machinery had been installed to turn water into breathable oxygen. A scientist watched them, with a cold expression on his face.

@SpiritOfWrath

The needle left Arosti's arm, now empty. Chloroplasts had just been injected into his bloodstream, and were now going to spread throughout his whole body. A scientist watched him, a cold expression on her face.

@Ancient Elantrian

X-778 awakened. A scientist wrote on her clipboard. 36 hours.

@Wyver

Vtras woke up. She felt off. While she slept, her skin had been replaced with malleable plastic, though she had maintained her form.

@FRENZEE

Wellington stood before a tunnel less than half as tall as him. A scientist had instructed him to go through without crawling. But that was impossible.

@RoyalBeeMage

Null was told by a scientist to enter the walk in freezer. It was full of frozen meat.

@Dragonheir

Will A. sat in a room with puzzles on a table in front of him. Across the table from him sat a scientist. She had a cold expression on her face.

@strmblsd

Eric's harness fell off him. He had been lowered into a small room with no doors. He knew they wanted him to try to get out.

@Axehound

Erick was attached to a machine by the scientist he'd known the longest. There was no warmth to her. She stuck his hands each on motors.

@Mag (when you have time)

Jules woke from the surgery. Something felt wrong. She looked at her hand, where a few scales had appeared. They had altered her DNA while she slept.

@DAVEY

Jeff was lowered into a room with a large door. It was locked, but it had a keyhole.

@BUTTER_BENJI_64

A plexiglass divider was placed between Benji and his hamster.

"Get that penny on this side," a scientist instructed with a cold tone.

“So… is it done?”

He narrowed his eyes. “You want me to do something, don’t you  Some task, some test.”

It rose to their chest. The scientist watched expressionlessly.

The scientist signaled to one of the security guards, who pinched the pressure points on the back of his neck.

~~

He woke up in his room in a straightjacket.
