Say one of them is being grabbed or thrown in prison and denied a phone call... What ways do you suppose exist that they could communicate without needing external sources? My first and immediate thoughts are hemalurgy but that would require Harmony to be willing to pass on the message. The same option could come in the form of aetherbound who share a primal aether and a Luhel bond. But is there an instance that wouldn't require a cosmicly powerful entity to mediate and play telephone for you? 1

Telsin also didn't need Autonomy or Harmony to talk to those spiked with Trellium. Hemalurgy can be used this way, but it will require some special changes, maybe strengthening Connection between two Hemalurgists. Trapped Ghostbloods can use Allomancy or Feruchemy to send out SOS signals with their pulses, there probably is an Aviar that could help them communicate with others, spren can forward messages, Seons as well, spanreeds and Awakened strawmen can be used too. It all depends on the circumstances and the methods of their confinement, but there are some ways they could use to send out a distress signal. Ghostbloods are well organized, so an agent trapped on Taldain would have the Taldain Ghostbloods cell close enough to alert Scadrial about his imprisonment. They don't need to have interplanetary communication to do this, they just need a way to alert nearby agents. But some of those methods will work between planets.
dezaS Hᴇ/Hɪᴍ Posted April 3, 2025 Posted April 3, 2025 If the ghostblood happens to have a tamu kek or be a Sho Del, they could directly contact a cosmically powerful being (rather than mediating) in the form of a dragon. There is likely a Connection-based fabrial possible for instantaneous "phone-home" in the late cosmere.
